    To be in the 70's here. very cloudy overcast starting out today. so far seems to be one of those 'blah' kind of days. Just doing som extra cleaning around the house. Enjoy your day.

    Good morning all. Got some heavy storms last evening. Only about 1/2 inch of rain actually fell into the rain gauge because the wind was blowing it horizontal to the ground at roughly 60 mph. :eek: Our Gazebo is laying on the ground again, pulled the posts right out of the ground.

    Autumn arrives here at 4:18 pm Central Daylight Saving Time and I think the temps for the rest of this week will reflect it's arrival, thank goodness.

    I really have to get some candles made, so today is the day.

    Good morning! It's gray and cloudy with thunderstorms predicted for later in the day. Everything is already soggy. We live on a dirt road and when I went to meet some of the farm team yesterday it was full of big ruts and very slippery. I think that school bus is making most of the ruts. I still have a cough and sniffles. dooley

    Its still dark here but its supposed to be around 20 today, and no rain, so i am going to cut the grass because they said the rain will be back tomorrow and all through the weekend too.

    Good morning all. The day started out very nice and cool, I did have plans to spend the day in the yard but Lisa just emailed me that her van broke down on the way to school this morning. It's sitting at a gas station, she called a teacher friend to come get her. Both of her boys are home sick today, Austin has had a severe case of bronchitis all week and now Nicky appears to be coming down with it.
    Sooooo, whenever Randy can take off from work we will be going up to see what the problem is and hopefull he will be able to fix it.
    Keep your fingers crossed that the repair is easy and inexpensive.

    I have been making candles while waiting on the ground to dry enough to be worked in, ran out of wax and wicks yesterday. Thankfully the place I get them from is in state so UPS will be bringing my order this afternoon.

    Good Morning from Wisconsin's great North Woods. I am sitting here waiting for the time to pass and the hour of today's leg surgery to arrive. 4 more to go. It's like going to the airport, surgery is set for 1:15, but be here 1 ½ hours early. Plus it's an hours drive to get there, so departure time is 10:30 or so. I allowed an extra 15 minutes for cowering in the car, and then hiding somewhere in the hospital. Once they drag me kicking and screaming from the car, and find me in my hiding place, strap me to the table and knock me out with a hammer, they can cut and mend. Since the whole thing is out patient, I should be home in time for dinner. I hope your day is better that mine is looking.
