Good Sunday morning all. Currently 14°C and overcast with showers expected most of the day.
I got all of the firewood put away yesterday and today I have to go to a co-workers to dug out some over grown Hosta's. He say's I can have them if I can dig them out! I really don't know where I'm going to plant them at this point...maybe I'll have to build a new garden ;)

Good morning! It's going to be sunny and 90 degs today. That cold front is maybe gone for awhile. I wore winter pajamas two nights this week. I thought we were skipping fall and going straight to winter. Have a good day now. dooley

Good morning. Ground out front was hard as concrete when I tried to dig a new bed area yesterday so I worked in the shaded area instead. Won't be out there today, going up to around 95 with a feels like temp of 100+.
Got another cold front coming thru tonight so tomorrow should be cooler again.

Netty, building a new garden will spoil you, as Frank said in my last post :D Have already made the measurements, and started to lay out the framework, hoping to have it done and ready to sit over winter. 8) Good luck, and keep posting on progress :)

Good morning. We've got rain and hail, a bit of hail, some rain, lots of rain and hail and that's how it's been for the last few days. The six-seven weeks before we've just had rain.

Temps are 6C/44F and I've declared "woolly-underwear-season" officially open. And now I'm going out in this. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Good morning all. Comfy this morning but I can't work in the yard today. I am a Stand-By Juror today, I have to call in after 11 a.m. to see if they need me. If they do I have to be at the criminal courts building by 1 pm and if they don't then I am released from duty.
At least this time I didn't have to drive into downtown Dallas along with the horrid going to work traffic to be there by 8:30 this time.

Good morning! The forecast yesterday said sunny and hot for the next two days. Someone got things mixed up because it's definitely not sunny today. It's raining again. It's only in 60's. I've got sewing to do today anyway. Orders to get done. dooley

    Good morning all.
My services were not required yesterday for jury duty so my day was gardeningless but free. Got Lisa's van out of the repair shop, delivered it to her and got my car back.
Went to our favorite thrift store and picked up a few Halloween things including another large plastic black cauldron, those make wonderful planters for in the garden.
Since yesterday was National Coffee Day, we stopped by our favorite coffee shop and got free Iced Mocha Lattes.

Today I am heading for the garden, I have neglected the backyard badly while working on creating the front garden...I have so much to do out there.

Good morning all and happy October 1st. I think October is one of my most favoritist months :-D Always the chance of the first real cool down that lasts a few days and it ends with Halloween. This weekend is decorating time.

Gray skies and a little off/on rain this morning with a chance of more later this afternoon. It started out in the low 70's and very humid, too uncomfortable for me so no yard work.

Good morning / afternoon all at GardenStew. Not a bad day here today, chilly but lots of blue sky. Had a Swedish exam this morning, went quite well.

My fish Leo is very ill I'm afraid. I'm trying to nurse him back to health but so far no luck yet. He keeps hanging on so I won't lose hope yet :(

    Current temperatures: 13 deg C / 55 deg F

    Enjoy your Thursday!
