    Good morning / afternoon all at GardenStew. Looks like it's going to rain here.

    My poor fish Leo died yesterday so I gave him a send off this morning. It was harder than I expected :'(

    Current temperatures: 12 deg C / 54 deg F

    Its still cool here but no rain forecasted for today, so i might be able to get out and see if i have anymore peppers ready,.

    Good morning all. We had humdinger of a rain storm move thru late yesterday afternoon and I was out driving in the middle of it. Not on purpose, but my youngest had a Doctors appt and the rain started before we could get home. The rain was coming down so heavy the windshield wipers couldn't move fast enough to let me see the front end of the car, forget about seeing the cars in front of me. So we pulled off and sat under the awning at a gas station for 20-30 minutes until it stopped, then the sun came out and we had a beautiful double rainbow.
    My yard got 1.5 inches in that 20-30 minutes so you can tell just how hard it was raining.
    This morning is cool and clear but the soil is very soggy.

    Frank, I am so sorry to hear about Leo passing. I have a space in the back garden that became a fishy cemetery over the last few years and always hated when my youngest daughter would come in and ask me to bury the latest one to pass. :(

    Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 8°C and cloudy. It certainly feels like autumn this week!
    I have laundry and some cleaning to do and then it's outside to pick some apples. When the rain starts later we will be busy baking :)

    Only 39F or 3C this AM so started up a warm little fire. Am slowly working my way through the house with a vacuum cleaner and dust cloth. Very quiet Saturday morning :)

    Good morning all.
    Got up at 6:OMG30 a.m. this morning. Stopped at our favorite coffee shop first, then on to a local community garage sale, found a few things. Then on to the garage sale the Boy Scout Troup our oldest grandson is a member of is having, found a few things. Went to Lowe's for a set of heavy duty shelves for the backroom then back to the scout troup garage sale to take breakfast to oldest daughter and grandson who were working there by then, found one more goodie. Stopped for breakfast for ourselves and home by 11 or so.

    That's only the morning activities, still taking youngest grandson to the Frontiers of Flight Museum after lunch.

    Good Sunday morning all. Currently just 8°C and raining. Weatherman says we will have rain for most of the day. I guess that means I will have to stay in and do some housework :(

    Good morning all. Rainy most, if not all, of the day here too. Oldest daughter and family are coming over for lunch and to pick up youngest grandson. I would much rather just order pizza but I think I have worn that meal out, so I am cooking :rolleyes:

    Then after they leave I have got to get working on christmas gifts.

    On yes, the NASCAR race is on this afternoon. Good knitting TV.

    Clear out with stars and full moon. Missed a freeze at 1C/34F. Weather is supposed to be nice this week with fall like temps.
