Good morning from Wisconsin's North Woods. Awoke this morning to snow, and 27° F (-3 C), I suppose that this means that the summer has come to an end. I'm still gimping around, have moved from crutches to a cane, from a locked brace to 30° of knee movement, and best of all, from sponge baths to showers.

Morning or is it afternoon already? Woke up to the same nasty conditions of cold and snow in Minneapolis. Have spent the morning cutting off leaves on my amaryllis and other houseplants which were still out on the balcony! At this time of year you can easily tell which plants need a lot of water during the summer - they are the ones that are frozen or drooped over and dead. Back to trimming dead plants because there is more cold and snow for the next few days.

Our first frost. Only -1C/30F this am. Guess I'd better do a little garden clean-up this morning...after it warms up a little.

Good morning all. Woke up to just under 50 degrees this morning and sun peeking out between the clouds for the first time since a week ago yesterday....and I still haven't missed it. ;)
But more rain is forecast for the coming week and heavy storms if the temp reaches almost 90 on Wed.

It's chillier and darker in the mornings making it that much harder for me to get my day started. Coffee, Garden Stew and my lazy cat Austin here next to me, make it just a little easier. Good morning everyone.

Well its been a chilly one here. Frosted again overnite. My son came home from college over the weekend. It was nice having him home. So this morning we'll be dropping him back at his girlfriends house so that he can get back to college and tend to his classes tomorrow. Have a nice fall day.

    Good morning all.
Took our oldest daughters Van in for repairs, again  this morning. She has driven my car more in the last month than I have.
Then went to breakfast and now back home to get some puttering around the house done.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends.

    Good morning from the UK,

Its fine weatherwise. My computer is directly in front of the window so today I see the community gardner is mowing the big expanse of grass.

Have a nice day everyone. Later I will shop then if its still fine pot up my new delivery of Violas.

    :D

Good morning all. Well, I wimped out and turned on my heat last night for a little while. October 12th... waaaay too early. It is just about 50 (F) this a.m. going into mid/high 70's this afternoon but cold rain is due upon us, they say, by Thursday morning. I have a couple of plants to bring in for the winter still.
