Gooood morning / afternoon to one and all at GardenStew. A fine day it is here, wonderful for an October's day. I'm working on (amongst other things) some changes for the site so I hope to upload them before too long. Stay tuned!

    Have a top Tuesday!

Good morning! Sunny and cool here this morning. Rain is coming back tomorrow and Thursday. Summer is long gone and fall is progressing into winter. Cold is not my best time. I'm already waiting for warm again. dooley

    Good morning all.
Dooley you moved to the wrong part of Texas then, cause our temps bounce around between 70's one day then into the 80's for a day or two....really good bronchitis causing weather here.

Think I will spend some time out in the much neglected backyard today, lots of scraggly perennials that need to be cut back. I think I got almost all of the Blue and Black Salvia pulled up and thrown away, I will NEVER plant that stuff again!!!

Of course, now that I've put away all the warm weather clothing and gotten out the sweaters, we have indian summer.... lovely warm day yesterday and expected to reach 75 (F) today. I'm not complaining. Wish I could stay home and work in the yard...

    Hello everyone!

Good morning all. Yea, more rain today and thru tomorrow. The sun has gone away again, we have a nice breeze and cooler temps. 85 a couple of days ago so not getting above the 70's will be like a little piece of paradise.

I transplanted my three Talinum paniculatum (Jewels of Opar) yesterday and found 9 seedlings coming up in odd places in the bed. So our growing season continues. ;)

The temp was 77 (F) yesterday and supposed to be so again today. What a nice treat. Wish I could stay home and garden. Boy, do my beds look awful right about now. I need about 3 days to catch up.

Good morning! It's dark and cold and pouring rain. Why am I not still in bed? We have to be at the truck service garage at 8 am is why. Then, we have a yard we went to go see about. It's supposed to be inside. It listed material and sewing stuff. dooley

A very good morning / afternoon to one and all at GardenStew. A case of the blues here unfortunately, headache! The dull weather is not helping either. Here's hoping tomorrow will be better :)

    Current temps: 13 deg C / 55 deg F

    Have a great day all!

Feel better soon, Frank... TGIF at least. Hope everyone enjoys a nice Friday. Rain beginning here, supposed to hang on through the weekend. Warm again yesterday (high 70s F) but cooling off again now.

Good morning all. No yard work for me today, after 3 inches of rain on Wednesday the black clay is way too sloppy to work in. AND a cold front moved thru yesterday, this morning the temperature started out at 45F/7C for us with a strong wind that brings the temp down a few more degrees. I like it like that!!!

Hope the headache goes away soon Frank.

I just found out this morning that the US post office issued a commerative stamp honoring Gary Cooper, my all time favorite actor. I need to buy stamps. ;)
