Oh dear, Droopy.... hang in there, it can't go on forever, the snow.

Raining again today, last bits of the Nor-Easter. Hope all on the East Coast here are OK. No damage in my neighborhood, thankfully.

Good Monday morning all. Currently +4°C and overcast. Today is the first day of the kids "March Break" and they are all still sleeping. I'm sure they will be up soon and looking for something to do.

Morning. 43º and cloudy grey. Going to rain again. *sigh* Oh well, its better than snow! Our store hours have changed along with DST. Were open till 10 now, so I go in at 1:15 instead of 12:15....Wonder if theyre going to open the garden center today...Ive talked to the managers about being garden cashier this year, which would mean a more solid schedule, probably 11-8.

Good morning all. 70 degrees yesterday but we had too many other tasks to take care of for me to have any time in the yard.

First day of spring break here so the youngest grandson is here for a couple of days. He can entertain himself on the Wii while I am out back.

Droopy hang in there spring will find you eventually. Funny thing is there is a slight chance of us seeing some wintry precipitation at some point next week when a cold front comes our way. I guess I will hold off getting any thing actually planted until closer to March unless the forecast changes.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. Another grisly discovery out on my lawn this morning...the back legs of a young lamb. The coyote numbers are WAY up and my farming neighbors are getting hit hard. Not the kind of thing I like to find on my morning dog walk.
Today we are heading to the city for a day at the mall. My kids are excited as we only go there twice a year.

Good morning all. We have a cold drizzly day today, not heavy rain just enough to get you wet if you stand out in it for 15-20 minutes  One of those days when a reading a good book is high on my list of activities.

Today I'm driving to Brooklyn NY to pick up one of my cousins! My driving pal will be another cousin -- I feel some laughter coming on!

Hitting 60 I think. No rain today! Should be a nice day.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 1°C and sunny. It will be a beautiful day with a high of 17°C expected with sunshine! I will try to get all my housework done early so we can get outside. I may rake the lawn, but usually I get the lawn raked and then it snows again. I think I'll spread some compost :)

Good morning! It's sunny and will be 70 today after a gray rainy cool day yesterday. Even Chance was gloomy yesterday. Got to do some shopping. Wannabe will be here tomorrow. We've got to get up early as I have a doctor's appointment before we pick her up at the airport. She will have a long day, too because she has to be in St. Louis at 5 am to be at the airport early enough to leave there at 6 am. At least I will only be getting up at 6 am.
Have a good sun shiny day. dooley

Morning all! Lovely day outside, a bit chilly though, 48º. Potted up some hyacinths yesterday, and borrowed some flour from mom to make seed tape (check out my blog for how to do this).

Good morning all.....oops, it is now about 30 seconds into the afternoon.
Youngest grandson was just retrieved by his mom and older brother and man is the house quiet!!

Too chilly to work outside but maybe later this afternoon. Until then I will finish watching Practical Magic and working on a summer shawl for my oldest daughter who is cold year round....that's what she gets for still being so skinny  ;)
