Good news from Western Norway and Ontario this morning! Especially glad to hear you're having rain, Droopy -- hope things melt and drain away without flooding.

Beautiful day on tap here today! I have to work... BUT I took off tomorrow to get my blueberry patch ready for planting.

The drive to Brooklyn NY to pick up my cousin went very well yesterday.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 3°C and sunny. We could set a record today...we are expecting 18°C today and the record temp for today is 18.9°C.
I'll certainly be outdoors enjoying the day :)

Good morning all, bright sunshiny out today and warming up to mid-60's
Netty our record high for today is 92f/33c and that was set in 1907. Can you imagine trying to find a cool place to be with no AC and in those heavy dresses women wore?

Good Friday morning all. Currently 2°C and sunny. We didn't beat any records yesterday, but we should today. We are again expected to reach 18°C and the old record is 14°C.
Yesterday I cleaned up the big back garden and top dressed with compost. It felt SO good to play in the garden again! I was also at a garden center and bought myself some seeds :)

Off of work today!!! Getting my blueberry patch ready for the new plants when they come. My cousin Krisja is in town here for a visit. She's going to come over and keep me company while I work. It's a beautiful day.

    Good morning all.
I got to work in the backyard yesterday, not on the backyard but I was out there washing all the soil off all my holiday cactus plants and repotting them in new soil in an effort to get rid of the gnat infestation.
Seems to have worked. I had put all the plants out in the backroom last Dec and decided that whatever lived thru the winter would be cleaned and repotted. Most of them did live even when the temps in the backroom were the same below freezing temps as outside. Now we will see if they thrive and bloom again later this year.

I bought some plants yesterday to put around the front porch so I have some potting to do out front.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C and overcast. Weatherman says we will get some rain today. That's a good thing...I have many indoor projects that need attention.
Droopy - I'm so happy for you being able to see some grass now! It won't be long now and you'll be able to play in the garden too :)

    Good morning all.
We had a nice Spring yesterday, the high temp was 73, this morning we are back to winter with a temp of 37 and not warming up by more than a couple of degrees all day. We have had about an inch of rain so far with more coming thru out the day. AND there is a possible wintery mix for tonight and tomorrow morning. Might not much on us but not many miles north of us they could get 1-3 inches of snow by tomorrow evening.

We've had a lovely weekend. I think yesterday was about 70 (F). The sun felt great. I cleaned up some leaves and cut the spent Autumn Joy off of the side fence. A lot of herbs are sprouting --- that was nice to see. Talked to a contractor about replacing my fence.
