Morning all. Wish you all getting more rain than you can handle could share some of it with us, we are still high and dry for almost a month now.

We have both grandsons and both grand-doggies this weekend while their mom and dad are at a marriage enrichment weekend close to Austin, Tx. Five people and two doggies in our small house makes for a hectic time but the doggies sleep most of the time and the boys would if we don't roust them out around noon ;)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 17°C and overcast. Today I think I'll take my son to the mall and try to find him something to wear to his graduation in a few weeks. After that, I'm going to try to get some work done in my gardens :D

Good Morning. We had storms yesterday with a lot of rain and it is cloudy today. It is really "muggy" outside. It is to be nicer this week with less rain, more sun and highs in the 80's. Enjoy your Sunday. wannabe

Morning all. Another hot, muggy and dry one starting here again. Have been auditioning people who claim to be rainmakers but have yet to find one who has enough power to make it rain here. So it has been one month today since we had any significant rain and that was only 1/2 an inch/1.3cm.

Grandsons and doggies went home yesterday evening, the house went back to quiet and somehow empty...but they will be back one at a time over the next two months before school starts again.

Morning! Toni, I wish I could send you some of my rain... We have had enough here for a while. I emptied 2 1/2" out of the gauge yesterday, and then another 2" this morning. It's making things quite soggy... not to mention the threat of flooding along the Platte River and other smaller rivers here in SE Nebraska. Hope this system moves south your way!

Good morning! It looked like it might rain this morning. Black clouds and wind but it passed. Our yard is still soggy so we don't need more rain yet. I have lots to do today so should go and get started. Still haven't taken my computer to be fixed. One of these days though. dooley

Good Morning. It rained again this morning. Our usual year to date rainfall is 15.5 inches and as of today it is 21.6 inches. It is to be sunny and 89 to 91 the next few days. I think I may have to hunt out some boots. wannabe

    Good mornign to all stewbies.

It is bitterly cold and we even had SNOW on Table Mountain.

I am wearing thermal underwear, hiking gear, boots and 'basically my whole wardrobe' and I still feel the chill in the air.
Nothign a mug of coffee and stewing will not remedy. ;)

    Have a great stewing day.

Morning all. Sunny with a few nice large white fluffy, totally useless clouds floating by. You know it is going to be a hot one when the central AC has to come on at 8 a.m. The high temperatures may be hovering just under 100F/38C but what it actually feels like outside will be between 105-110F/41-43C
No rain even hinted at in the 10 day forecast.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a cooler than normal summer for north Texas. Sooooo will those cooler temps begin exactly on the Summer Solstice, a few days before, a few days after? Solstice occurs here on June 21st, 6:28 a.m. CDST (central daylight saving time) We shall see!!
