    Morning all. I know, I know but I just had to gripe a little....104 yesterday but felt like 106. Supposed to be the same today.

    Netty, would you come do some weeding in my yard? Mine is on it's own for the next several days, maybe weeks, I can get out and water in the evening but being outside during the day is just not happening.

    In the hopes of having some decently cold winter weather this is

    Its going to be a hot and humid day here, around 96*.......but storms are moving in later.

    I wish I was making it in the green colorway but I chose the red/purple/gray/green colorway instead. Guess I could make another one next. :rolleyes:

    Morning all. Our humidity is lower than it has been the last two months so now the hot, dry air is sucking moisture out of the ground and plants. But we still have enough humidity in the air to make the feels-like temp 110 yesterday.

    Back to my knitting, I am almost 3/4ths the way finished with that wrap I posted the link to yesterday. Then I have a pattern for one knitted in a circle that I want to make.
    Today I will be watching the 3rd LOTR movie...Return of the King.

    Oh and also last Saturday was the 6th anniversary of my last cigarette.

    I'm not working because last night, a mild thunder shower rolled through unexpectedly and we received
    1 1/2" of nice soaking rain. We hadn't had any rain for about 10 days, so all the July rains have had the chance to dry out. The humidity is high here too, and it is hot. Good old summer in Nebraska!
    I'm going to go see my 4 yr. old grandson and see what fun we can find!
    Toni- Way to go on the No smoking! Congrats!

    Good Saturday morning all! Currently just 10°C, but sunny. It sure feels like Autumn out there today!
    House cleaning, grass cutting, weeding to do today. Oh and the first load of firewood to put away as well. I'm going to be busy today!
    Congrats Toni, on 6 years smoke free! That's awesome!

    Good Sunday morning all. Currently 18°C and overcast. It looks like rain and I sure hope we get a good soaking...my crazy pumpkin vine really needs it!
    (Even though a good watering might cause it to eat my garden shed LOL)
    Made zucchini bread yesterday ... YUM!
