    Good Monday morning all. Currently 21°C and clear. It's going to be a scorcher today!
    Today is my son's birthday as well as his first day of high school. That should make for an interesting day :)

    Good morning all. Back into the usual August weather, upper 90's and no rain. Only had two cool mornings last week when I could be outside but that is more than I usually get in August.
    Still no rain for us....8 weeks now and still counting, without much hope in the forecast. There have been pop-up quickie thunderstorms around the area but none over my yard.

    Morning all. The last day of August is here, now I can hope that there are only a very few more weeks of this heat and that Autumn weather will fall upon me soon. Not holding my breath mind you, just hoping. Rain, I have heard that word but have forgotten what it looks like or feels like, maybe someday we will get some of that too.

    Good Morning. It is 75° now but going up to 90° this afternoon. We had a few showers yesterday but only had about 1/4 inch in the rain gauge. Going to town to run a few errands and have our evening meal at Ryan,s. Enjoy your day.

    Got up 6:00am this morning heading for my tennis lesson. Have my car air-con off and enjoy the morning breeze wind :) Approximately 28°C...later afternoon will be 34°C...:)

    Good morning all. And I do finally mean GOOD morning. Our 8 week and 3 day dry spell ended yesterday,

    We did get a 1/2 inch thru yesterday evening and since, when it comes to rain right now, I am extremely greedy, we could use about 5 times that to replenish the plants and soil.

    Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 12°C with cloudy skies and a NW wind. It sure feels like Autumn out there!! Capt, I saw a Wooly Caterpillar out there this morning and it was all brown with no stripe. What does that mean??
    Heading to the Mall to finish our back to school shopping today.

    Good SUnday morning all. Currently just 9°C and overcast/rainy/windy. It's definitely feeling like Autumn today.
    Yesterday we had gale force winds, rain, snow flurries (yes, SNOW!) It was a horrible day and I have many unhappy plants outside. I hope the winds subside soon so I can get outside and inspect the gardens.

    Good morning all. It is not getting as cool in the early mornings as first forecast, but then I'm not getting up as early in the mornings as first planned either. :rolleyes:

    On tap today....breakfast, grocery shopping/delivery for my Mom, a stop at Dunn Bros for coffee, then back home to finish laundry and dishes and work on another scarf for Knit Your Bit I'm doing on in black, white and red long stripes right now.
