A late good morning to you all. Been confined to bed with the flu all day! Such a hindrance.

    Have a great Friday!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 10°C and sunny. I guess I have to admit that Autumn is here :(
Today I will continue my veggie garden cleanup and topdress the plots with manure.
    Have a great day all!

Good morning all. We are home safe and sound, today I do some laundry, unpack and put things away. Seems like there is always more work when you get home from a trip than there was getting ready for the trip.

Looks like next week our temps will be dropping into the low 90's at last, not really fall weather but down here that's pretty good for Sept.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 13°C and sunny. It's a beautiful morning and for the first time for as long as I can remember I SLEPT IN! I must have needed the sleep.
Today the pool comes down and put away for the winter. It's so depressing this time of year...I'm gonna miss the summer heat. Yard cleanup also and a quick dash into town. That's my Sunday.
Have a great day all :)

Morning all. Yet another very warm and very dry day in store. Back to watering the gardens every 36 hours.

The official start of Autumn, if not the actual beginning, is in the evening of Sept 22 here in the states and early morning on Sept 23 other places in the world. Man I can hardly wait for the smell of autumn, the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot, digging out the sweaters to keep the chill away....now if all of that were to happen before the end of the calender year that would be great.

Morning all. Not too terrible warm outside this morning but the sun has risen above the top of the roof and is bearing down on both the back and front yards so I am too late to get anything done out there other than watering again. Just set the hose and came back in hot and sweaty. This is the last half of Sept....right?

I just hope we have some cool weather by Halloween, there isn't anything much more uncomfortable than trying to have gingerbread and hot apple cider by the light of about 3 dozen candles when the temperature is in the upper 80's outside.

A late good morning all. Very Irish-like weather today in Malaysia. Not saying it made me homesick, but it's nice for a change.

Morning all. Slightly cooler this morning and the afternoons, while still very warm, are not the suffocating heat of a month ago or even a week ago. There is hope still.

It's been almost 3 months since I was able to get up early and spend an hour or more out in the garden and now that I can it is hard to get myself going in that direction. I just need to get my gardening attire on and head out the door....right after I finish my time on the Stew and another cup of tea.

Good morning all. Starting out at 73 deg and not too bad out there.

I am getting my mind ready to shift back into the gardening mode. Fear is what's keeping me inside, fear of what I will find out in the back garden since nothing could be done out there for so long. The way our house is built I can't see the backyard from the windows on the back of the house so it has been a case of 'out of sight, out of mind'.
I'll be ready to get out there soon, just not yet

I think I will stick my head in the ground and maybe it will all go away then I won't have to contend with it.

Good morning all. Just been for a haircut from the local Malay barber. It was quite an eye-opener how different barbers can be from country to country.
