1 part whiskey to 4 parts boiling water. Then sweeten with honey / lemon, and maybe add a few cloves / raisins if you have them. :D

Good day all. I'll be putting my feet up all day *cough*

I've got a cold too, Frank... this sounds exactly right on time. I've got some fresh honey for it too. I hope you feel better quickly.

Good morning all. Not nearly as cool today as the past two days but still acceptable. Still no rain so here, near the end of November, there are still plenty of blooms in my garden that have to be watered.

And as much as I hate doing it, there are some annuals that have been ended by the freezes we have had and need to be pulled up. BUT, if I see even one of the Gulf Fritillary butterflys flitting around then the zinnias will stay where they are.

    Hi there everyone
I certainly like the idea of using Whiskey as medicine! WooHoo. No wonder it is one of the beverages I like.
I hope all the stewbies that suffer from colds and flu get well soon.
The expected temps for today is a high of 31 deg Celsius. To all the cold stewbies keep warm. :stew2:

Good Monday morning all. Currently -2°c and clear. Today we are starting to re-shingle the roof so that's where I'll be ... out on the roof!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. We are back to warm and muggy for today. After a very busy and people filled week I will have the house to myself after daughter goes to work. What to do, oh what to do. Oh, yeah, I have two...no four books I haven't read yet so I think I will pick one and get started. ;)

Good morning all, Almost 30 degrees colder here this morning than yesterday and soooo much better. Still no rain, maybe late next week or the week after.

I have a couple of errands to run this morning and I see that there must be a new shipment of large Snapdragons at the garden centers since landscapers have started using them around the area for the winter.....time to go get me some Snapdragons!!.
