    Good morning all. The weather is sooooo not what I was looking forward to it being this week. But it is still cold enough to be wonderful. No rain and certainly no snow.....darn it! When it warms up this afternoon I need to pull up dead annuals and do some cleaning up out there. And get a couple of those new plants in the ground, no freezing temps for us for a couple more weeks.

    I have just about all of my xmas shopping done and have a plant order for spring delivery sitting waiting for the final 'Place this order' button to be pressed ;)

    Good morning everyone,.

    Its still snowing here, calling for another 40-60 cms, there is a wind chill advisory in effect, and squalls too..........heck of a nice day here!!

    Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -11°C and STILL windy, but at least the sun is shining.
    Boy Penny, you are really getting slammed with snow! Aren't you glad you live in the snowbelt? ;)

    Hi there everyone

    It is HOTTTTT here. Even my computer (with watercooling and all) is registering 32 deg Celsius.

    THe few plants that are surviving the onslaght will definitely need some water tonight.

    Good morning all. Getting a late start today, I slept in...cold room and warm bed just wouldn't let go of me at the usual time this morning.

    PalmTree, I do not envy you the heat. This is just the begining of the heat for you isn't it? How hot does it usually get there in the middle of summer?
    August here was miserable, the temps ranged from 96F/35C to 107F/42C Even watering every morning didn't help some of the plants.

    Its cold here, there's a wind chill advisory, so right now its -29, it snowed more overnight, but its not right now.

    It is slightly cooler here - a 'mere' 27 deg Celsius.

    Yesterday was most terrible in that we did not have any electricity here, and I missed out on some stewing. :(

    However, I am taking my family away camping this weekend. WooHooo. :-D

    Good Friday morning all. Currently -14°C and overcast. I just realized that I only have 7 days left until the kids are home for Christmas vacation. I usually have all their shopping done and wrapped before that time and I've barely started!! I think I'm off to the mall today...

    Good afternoon all. Making my list and checking it twice...got all but a couple of gifts. Made a list of how many of them could be wrapped and how many would need to go in bags, went to Dollar General for bags and paper....left my list of how many and what size bags at home so I had to 'wing it' and now am getting things wrapped, bagged and tagged.

    The Charlie Brown tree is going in the middle of the kitchen table this year with the gifts behind it. It's been ages since we used the table for anything other than stacking things on anyway, this will keep everything up off the floor and out of the way.

    Good Monday morning all. Currently -13°C with grey skies and blustery winds.
    My kids were so sure that today would be a snow day so as you can imagine there were 3 disappointed faces this morning.
    I hope to get some wrapping done today and a final list of things to buy.
