Good morning all. The cold in my head is beginning to start clearing up...I can actually get my brain to add 2+2 and come up with 4..at least I think that's right.
Vit C, Echinacea with Goldenseal, Propolis and Myrrh and a pain reliever are doing the trick.

Third day in a row of temps below 32 deg all day, I am not complaining since I have been housebound all the time.

Still cold here too. It says tomorrow will be cloudy an 55 degs. I'll believe the cloudy but not the 55degs. Then, three more days of possible rain. Our road is just getting drivable from last weeks rain. dooley

Woke up this morning with a slight drizzle, then it started to rain, then it stopped, then it started again and stopped. Now it looks like it is very indecisive to rain or not to rain!!! It is cold and clamy and I feeling trapped in my own home!!!

It just decided and it is raining again. I think I'll go in the kitchen and have me a nice cup of hot coffee with the yunnie cream puff that Becky made yesterday ..... :)

Good Friday morning all. Currently -13°C and lightly snowing. I see blue sky approaching and it will be a lovely day!
Today we are going to pick up our new countertops and hopefully tiles. Yesterday I went looking for shelf paper around the town and couldn't find any. I was told that no one uses that stuff anymore ... is this true? Does anyone here use shelf paper?
Have a great day all :D

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -8°C and snowing. Weatherman says we should get substantial snowfall today.
The kitchen project continues. And I still haven't found any shelf paper.
Have a great day all :D

Good morning all. We had a little rain during the early morning hours, supposed to have more all through the weekend.

I went looking for shelf paper a few years ago and couldn't find any either. Sometimes you can find shelf liner, sticky or non-adhesive. I have used contact paper but after trying to remove it and not being able to get all the sticky off the shelf I haven't used anything since then.
You might find some at a small privately owned hardware store.
I used gift wrap for a few years, left over snow scenes fit my need really well. ;)

Good morning! It rained during the night but now it's just cloudy. The sun did try to peep through a little but the clouds quickly covered it. I needed to use a part loaf of whole wheat bread so I have bread pudding in the oven. It smells great! I'd better go see if it's done yet. dooley

Good Sunday morning all. It's a cold one out there today...-15°C and with the windchill it feels like -24°C. I think this is the coldest day so far this winter! The sun is shining so that helps.
I found some shelf paper at the Independent Grocer yesterday, hidden in the row with the mops and cleaning supplies. Who knew something so simple would be so hard to find? The kitchen project stands still today while DH gives a buddys car a brake job. That's OK with me...Sunday is day of rest ;)
Have a great day all :D
