Good Friday evening all. The weather's not too bad. We've had some mild weather with rain for the last four weeks. The minusdegrees are back, but there aren't many of them and the sun's up during the day so it's a bearable February so far. :D

I'm sorry I don't pop in to see you all more often, but I'm sort of fed up with internet life for the time being. :( I guess I've got a bad case of the winter blues, since I'm sort of fed up with almost everything and prefer to spend time with horses in the mornings and children in the afternoons and evenings. Whenever I've got some time I spend it reading a book or browsing through the seed catalogues, looking forward to spring.

Big hugs to all who want one.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -5°C and snowing. Weatherman promised us mild temperatures but didn't say anything about snow, so this snow is making me grumpier. I say grumpier because I was already grumpy about this ongoing winter. I can't STAND it anymore!!!! There, I've said it. I know just how you feel Droopy.
Today will be a busy day...my youngest daughter has a birthday party to get to, also today is soccer registration and valentine baking day with my oldest.
That should keep my mind off the snow.
    Have a great day everyone.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -4°C and overcast. Yesterday's weather turned into an all out snow squall with strong winds and blowing snow...it was horrible! This morning's dog walk was just as horrible...the snow was knee deep all the way. Grrrr .... I'll be so glad when winter is over!!!
    Have a great day all!

Good Monday morning all. A nice change today ... 4°c and raining. That may not sound great to a lot of you but to me it is WAY better than -14°C and snowing!
    Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

    Good morning everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day to all. The prospect of warmer temperatures in New England means we are that much closer to spring. :)

    Good morning everyone,

In typical New England weather fashion of wait 10 minutes and it will change, the temperature went from the 60's to teens same day. This weekend it's back to the 60's on a roller coaster temperature ride. Lots of snow melted yesterday, we may see the ground in April. I bought seeds yesterday. I don't know who is more excited, the seeds or me. :)

Good morning all. I'm not bragging, really I'm not.....well, yeah, maybe just a little ;) but I am about to go out and work in the front garden probably for all day or at least as long as I can. I should take it slowly since I haven't been out there pulling and lifting 40 pound bags of mulch since way last Autumn but wanna bet that I don't.

It' almost 63F/17C and going into the mid-70's, the birds are out there chirping at me that the feeders are empty and I think there was one calling me outside to get started on what I need to be doing.....bossy bird!

It was in the 70's today. Some clouds but mostly sunny. I didn't get outside until after 3 pm. I had to go to a luncheon with the ladies from the library for National Library Month. It was very good. There were about a dozen of us. I enjoyed myself.
I finished raking the backyard and did some more in the front yard. The forecast says 10 to 20 percent drizzle the next couple of days so I wanted to get it finished.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -4°C with ice pellets falling. This is NOT the weather I was promised today!
I'm taking my youngest to the Dr today to get her MMR immunization. Then she wants to go straight to school. She loves grade 2! Have a great day all :D

    Good morning everyone,
A thaw is here and the ravages of winter are morphing into puddles. Some deer spent the night in the back yard doing their spring pruning. Looking for a high of 60F (15C) today.
    Have a good one,
    Jerry
