Good morning all. Well, of course I didn't take it slow yesterday, lugging bags of mulch around like I was a stevedore or at least like I was 20 years younger. So today I will take it easier, go back to the every other day in the yard schedule like last fall.
Today I think I will take myself to some garden centers to see if I can find any plants and failing that I will at least come home with several bags of compost and maybe some more mulch. Oh,and HD sent me a coupon for Buy One Houseplant/Get one Free. Not that I need more houseplants but I do have a window sill that is literally begging to have something prettier than dust sitting on it.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently +2°C and raining. It feels rather spring like out there and the high is +13°C today. That should melt some of this snow!!
Off to do some shopping and errands today. Have a great day all :)

Good Friday morning all. Currently 8°C and overcast. A lot of snow melted overnight and I can actually see patches of grass! I'm not going to get too excited though...temperatures dropping this afternoon and 5 cm of new stuff falling tomorrow. 31 days until spring. Have a great day all :D

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -11°C with high winds and scattered squalls. It was a horrible night ... strong winds were actually shaking my house! Yesterday was a lovely day with a high of +11°C with most of the snow melting. (I could actually see some gardens!) Darkness brought high winds and flurries and it is still blowing this morning. Good day to stay inside!
Have a great day all :D

    Good morning everyone,

Several inches of winter melted with yesterdays warm weather. Today winter is trying to reassert itself with wind speeds of 25 to 35mph gusting to over 40mph as the temperatures dive into the sub freezing range.

I will not put away my winter coat just yet.

Good morning all. Temp got up to 82 yesterday but the next few days should be back down into the 65-75 range. We have about a month until we reach our average date of last freeze but I wouldn't be at all surprised if our last freeze was two weeks ago. We had to turn on the central AC about noon, not unusual for the month of Feb in some years but I was really enjoying the late winter weather then late spring made an unpleasant quick visit.

Morning all. Had an unbelievably great weather week!We had 3 days in the 70's. It's about 40°F at 10:30 a.m. and may reach into the 50's. Winds are pretty gusty here too, which helps to dry the soggy earth. I guess one of my duties today is to go pick up the doggy waste in the backyard, that has resurfaced since the snow all melted. Fun...
    Have a good day!!

    Good morning everyone,

Mr. Chilly Willy has taken up residence in New England with the temperature in the mid teen,s he will be around for awhile. Several more inches of snow cover melted during the recent thaw.

Good afternoon! We were out and about early trying to finish raking the front yard and getting a fence along one side of it. Now, the two little dogs are contained and just maybe I can stop worrying about the neighbors animals. It's in the upper 70's but a tad bit windy. We have some windows open but have not turned on the a/c yet.

Hubby is a big race fan. I like it too... but only at the last 20 laps or so!
Beautiful day here as well... a little breezy and cloudy, but nice and warm!

    Good morning everyone,

It was a busy weekend here, and the weather was terrible.

Today is currently -23, and snowing a wee bit here too.
