Good morning and happy Wednesday! It's pretty yucky out here right now... fog and drizzling rain. But oh well... I have to be at work anyhow.

Woke up to snow, but the temperatures are rising. Maybe we will warm up to above freezing :) finally.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast with light snow falling. Yesterday was a lovely day and we went for another long walk. We saw a flock of Robin's and that means spring must be around the corner! Today is shopping day. Have a great day all!

    Good morning everyone,

The temperatures expected to creep over freezing and reduce the snow cover to a foot and a half. The chipmunks too are getting spring fever appearing above their holes after tunneling through the hard snowpack with picks and shovels. :)

Snow! Pretty and white. Had an early release yesterday and have a late start today. Roads are a mess with snow then rain and then freezing/snow weather.

Got so much to do would rather be working, especially since I can't get out into the garden with a covering of white stuff hindering any work. Will try to relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy.

Good morning all. 72 here and mostly sunny... and muggy. Wish I were at home getting the yard all cleaned up.

Good morning all. We are getting rain, not much but it is making the ground wet and beginning to puddle at the end of the driveway. First rain we have had since early January and I was beginning to wonder if the rain spirits had forgotten us.

I really need to take a break from the ancestor searching and get something else done around here. But I have taken another branch of my family back to just before the Civil
War and found my 3rd great grandfather Glenn died at Vicksburg in 1863. I have three branches of the family to find in Ireland, one in England and another in Germany. I might even have found a minor connection between one of my ancestors and Randy's back in the 1770's

That's great Toni! Where in Germany are you looking? Genealogy is SO addicting, isn't it? Last week I found out something new and then spent the entire weekend working on that branch of my family tree!!

I wish I could send you all some of this warm weather (except for KK of course)! Going to be absolutely beautiful the next week or so. I'm taking off work a half day to hang out with my sister... hope she doesn't mind sitting outside in the beautiful sunshine.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -3°C and snowing. 24 more days until spring-
    I'd better remind Mother Nature!
I hope to finally pick a paint color for the living room today. I've been having trouble picking a color that everyone in the house agrees upon. Meanwhile, our kitchen project remains at a standstill until we decide where to put a dishwasher. The placement will decide which dishwasher we order...a regular or 18" model. I hate making decisions! Have a great day all :)

    Good morning everyone,

A return to the white stuff has cleaned up the snow cover for now. Rain however, may reduce the accumulation on the ground making spring just a little bit closer. It's not time yet to put away the seed catalog and play in the dirt. :)

Good morning all. We are back to spring type temperatures. 82 degrees yesterday afternoon, today only about 60 degrees, I like today better.
Yesterday we had about 1/4 inch of rain (.635 cm), if we were lucky. But that on top of the inch on Jan 9, the inch on Christmas Eve, the inch in mid-Nov, the inch in Oct....we just might need an Ark before long

I am going to try my hand at using tin snips to cut some brass plant markers. Randy has some brass sheet left over from making mounts for his HAM radio equipment so I am going to play with the leftovers. Then I will try my hand at using the electric engraver to write on the markers....then I will probably chuck it all in the recycle bin and find an easier way to make something that looks good.

16F/-6C Woke up to ice blockage in the water pipes. Ooops. Forgot to leave the water running or turn-on the heat tape with these cold temps. Will feed the poor birds once the sun has lightened the sky. Weather is supposed to warm up today :p It is so cold the snow is still like fine dust. A little unusual for here.

Had a beautiful day out yesterday for shopping. :-D Will have to take a little drive today before the last snow flurries coming in and turn to rain. Warming is supposed to take place in the afternoon.
