    Good morning everyone,

Last nights rain reduced the snow cover eo a little over a foot. Clouds and some rain maybe we will see the ground soon.

    Good morning everyone,

It will be a sunny day, temps in the 40's. Today I will put polyurethane on kitchen cabinets I stained on the weekend. Less than a foot of snow remains on the ground. The ground may be bare by the first official day of spring!! :headbang:

Good morning all! Cloudy and a little breezing this morning, but it's supposed to be nothing but sunshine this afternoon and through the weekend! My plans for today... well I gotta work... but after that, a trip to Lowes for a few things and then get the Passion flower ready to start climbing that light pole.

    Goodmorning everyone,

I can see spring arriving, Tuesday the snow cover meter said 12 inches to go till we see ground. Today it said 11.897. If you listen you can almost hear the crocus with their shovels digging. :) Tomorrow I'm sending the marigolds go outside with snowblowers.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 3°c and overcast with some rain. Yesterday we had snow squalls with blowing snow and today we are expecting heavy rains. I don't ever remember the weather being such a roller coaster! It is shopping day today so hopefully the rain will hold off until I am done. Have a great day all :D

    Good morning everyone,

The snow is still melting, its down to 11.891 inches. One of my plant grow lights failed yesterday plunging several plants into darkness they did not expect. I bought them a new grow light. Now they want me to install it. I guess I know what I will do today. With temperatures expected to soar into the low 40's the snow will be reduced significantly by .172 to .180 inches.
Like it or not the marigolds go out tomorrow.

Happy Thursday! Got home last night after a very rough day at work (we had to move our entire office in one day!)
    :scheming:
Since we're still getting the office set up... I brought work home with me. And to my surprise... no internet service. Tech guy just left and I'm back online!
So... I'll get some work done now (well... after I go through my emails and check out the Stew) since it's still a bit cool outside. Then once the temps warm up to the 70s I'm out to get some planting done.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 2°C and raining. Wait...snowing. No raining.
I guess it's going to be one of THOSE days today! My kids don't have school today so March Break has already started. What is everyone doing to keep their kids amused for the week? We are heading to 'Springfest' one day next week - it's like a fair with rides etc
I'm not sure what else yet.
Big Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan this morning ... my prayers going out to all.

Good morning all. Randy and I are heading to Austin today, have a wedding to attend tomorrow and a lot of wandering the city to do. I hope the Herb Farm is open, I took photos of it last year when we went then lost them when I forgot to move them from the camera card to the computer before initializing the camera card when it was full. I really thought I had moved them.

Huge earthquake, 8.9 with aftershocks ranging from 6.4 to 7.0 for several minutes afterwards. My youngest daughter was on the computer with a friend who lives in the part of Japan hit by the quake when it happened. The girl is an American who moved there to go to school, she has never been in an earthquake before.
There is a Tsunami warning for the entire west coast of the U.S. from Alaska to Mexico and Hawaii started getting hit really early this morning. Those regions should start getting hit this morning, but they aren't expecting anything nearly as big as the 33 ft waves that hit part of Japan over night.
