Good morning everyone, more and more ground is showing up but I don't think I will lift the mulch off in the exposed flower beds just yet. There was a frost last night. Winter still lurks in the shadows of the night.

Good afternoon all. Sometimes the sky today is overcast, sometimes the sun is trying to peek through, the clouds are just teasing since there is no chance of rain falling from them.
Since the afternoon high temps are to be in the 80's much of the next few days I want to clouds to hang around as long as they like.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 2°C and raining. Yesterday was a lovely day and I was finally able to spend a little time surveying the gardens. There is still some snow to melt before I am able to see everything. I'm off for errands and shopping today.
Have a great day all :D

    Good morning everyone,

A dull and rainy day is keeping us indoors today. Tomorrow will be a lot different.
The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow they'll be sun. Something to sing about. :)

Today it's singing in the rain,

    Jerry

A quick hello! I have been working again at my landscaping job. The season has started. I am clearing garden beds of their winter debris, and putting down fresh mulch all over town! Whew!
It has finally warmed up. Highs in the 60's for us.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Maybe this weekend I can "stew" longer! :)

Good morning all. Overcast again today, yea no sun....booo no rain. Weatherman was talking last night about the drought conditions the NWS has predicted for us this year and it appears my rain barrels will remain empty for a long time. Ifwe are lucky and get 1/4th inch on Tuesday of next week as there is a thought that we might, that will fill the barrels then rationing starts. We will be installing a third and maybe a fourth rain barrel this weekend, just in case.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 3°C and sunny. It's going to be a beautiful day! Yesterday afternoon turned out lovely and I was able to get a few patches of the lawn raked out. It felt so good to get some dirt under my nails :D
    Have a great day all.

Happy Thursday morning. Finally got our offices put together and back to work as usual. Boss gave me a nice bonus for the extra work... and I plan on stopping by the nursery and getting some flowers for a few hanging pots that are empty... and get some veggies for hubby's garden. Hopefully I'll have enough daylight left this evening so I can start mowing around the house.

Good morning all. Starting out overcast and warm, 66 already at 8:30 going to the 80's later this afternoon.

I was able to spend a couple of hours playing in the dirt yesterday, getting some cleaning up done. Then went to Lowe's for potting soil and some suet blocks....lo and behold, I even actually found some plants that wanted to come home with me. Imagine that!! ;)

A happy St Patricks Day to all, the temperature is pushing 60°F with bulbs pushing their heads up to make it an even greener day. :)
