Good afternoon all. 88 degrees at 4 p.m. a drying wind has been blowing 20-30 mph for days and plants are so dry they are falling over. I can just imagine what the pastures and fields are like west of us where it has been windy and 90-100 already.

A cool front should be moving through late this evening/early tomorrow morning and might bring us some rain tonight and cooler temps for part of this coming week.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 16°C (woohoo!!) and overcast with a chance of rain. It was mild and rainy yesterday and I notice that the grass is getting green. Too wet to work outside today so O guess I'll clean. Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, a mild rain last night may tempt a few more flowers to emerge from their long sleep. The day will see temperatures in the mid 70's with a good chance of a shower or two.

Good Monday Morning. Overcast today and in the 80s with a slight chance of rain. My luck... it'll rain when I get home and mess up my painting project. But oh well... we need it!

Good morning all. We got RAIN early this morning. I wasn't sure we would since at bedtime it looked like everything was training up west of us and heading northeast...totally missing us. But this morning there is a little over an inch in the rain gauge and everything is looking so lovely.
This is the first month since last Sept that we have gotten more than an inch in one month. I won't end the extreme drought we are now in but the plants are loving it.

Sad thing is, last night on the news they were talking about over 700,000 acres of pasture land on fire and one small town almost destroyed by wildfire, out in southwest and west Texas with no chance of bringing it under control in sight...no rain out there though.

Good late afternoon all. I realized last night while watching the weather report that we 'dodged the bullet' so to speak when the storms moved through the area early Monday morning.
There were 4 tornadoes to our east, southeast, south and southwest and hail the size of golf balls west of us. I am sooooooooo very happy to have only gotten a little over an inch of rain instead.

Toni... I thought about you this morning when I saw the news about all the tornados! So glad they stayed away from you.
All we got out of that weather system was a 2-minute downpour. Today was beautiful... started off in the mid 50s... got up to lower 80s. And then repeat!

Its another cool, but sunny day here, and some frost overnight as well.

Off to Toronto, so have a great day everyone.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 1°C and overcast. There is rain in the forecast this morning and clearing this afternoon. Hubby gave me homework today ... to clean the left side of my garden shed. He's putting in a new window :D
    Have a great day all!

    Good morning everyone,

The rain will keep outside activities to a minimum as the flowers have the dust washed off of them. The temperatures are not expected to break out of the 40's until the sun re-appears tomorrow.

Morning all. No yard work for me for a few days. Lugging bags of stuff around the garden on Monday did in my back. I can walk but finding a comfy way to sit and lay down is right out of the question.

Won't be on the computer much either since that involves sitting for a minute or two.
