Good Thursday morning all. Currently 4°C and sunny. Today is shopping and errand day.
Toni - I feel for you! Last year I did in my back and I could barely get out of bed in the morning! Do yourself a favor and go see a Chiropractor. Really!
Have a great day all :)

    Good morning everyone,

The partly sunny day with temps in the mid 60's make a good garden day.
I can start to 'fine tune' some of the flower beds and see what the flowers have been up to during the winter.

Happy Thursday morning everyone. Another day just like the last few... and the few ahead. Sunny, warm and not a chance of rain in sight.
Today's garden chore... find some plastic bins for the potting soil, etc so I can make more room for more stuff in the "garage".

Good morning all. Third day of not being able to work in the yard because of my back, but it is getting better so maybe by the weekend I will be back out there getting caught up.
Still can't sit for very long so I won't be on GS as often or long as usual.

Overcast but warm and getting up into the 80's later today. Slight chance of rain but I am not holding my breath waiting on it.

Sorry to hear about your back Toni. Please do take it easy... we don't want you to make it any worse.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -3°C and sunny. The winds are making it feel mighty cold out there today. This is my official last day of holidays so I think I'll take it easy ;)
    Have a great day all!

    Good morning everyone,

It's a sunny day with temps in the 50's. Time to feed the grubs with GrubEx. Last year I did not do the entire lawn and our local skunk had to help by eating all the grubs I missed. The skunk did a really good job. This year I don't want the skunk to help at all.

Yippee! It's Friday! The day is starting off a little cloudy. A few little sprinkles fell in a few places. Supposed to clear up and get to mid 80s.
I have a 3-day weekend... And my main focus in the garden is going to be to pull weeds!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 5°C, with strong winds and rain. I had hoped to work in my veggie garden today, but the weather isn't co-operating. I guess I'll have to do housework. Have a great day all!

And a beautiful Saturday morning to you all! Got down to the mid 40s last night...brrrr. Mid 60s now, but expected to get up the high 80s this afternoon. Typical Texas weather... bundle up in the morning and strip down to shorts & tank top in the afternoon. :D

    Good morning everyone,

It's a windy spring day, partly sunny, with the temps in the mid 40's. Today I will feed the rest of the grubs some GrubEx. More flowers are popping up. :)

Good morning all. The old back is getting better. I felt the need to get out of the house yesterday so Randy and I went to lunch...wrong move. Today is better though.
I really have to get to the garden center before much longer, I have tomato, basil and sage plants to replace before other gardeners hit by the hail get to them first.
I need to replant the cucumbers and beans too.

It had been years since our TV has been on during the day and this week I have found that daytime TV really is a vast wasteland. If it isn't 'judge' programs, it's paid programming hawking some exercise equipment or miracle diet pill. Even our PBS station is in pledge drive mode and showing Susie Orman and other experts on stuff for the umpteenth time this year. At least the awful program about Blinko Glass has been on in years. I really miss being out in the garden!!!!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 2°C and sunny. It is still cold and windy, but at least the sun is shining! Well, I'll be missing morning roll call for a while...I'm back to work tomorrow! I'll still be around in the evenings ~ you can't get rid of me THAT easily :D
    Have a great day all!

Happy Sunday morning! Another cool start to the day. Yesterday was just gorgeous. And I was SO lazy. I didn't get much of anything done. I even propped by feet up on the bench out back and took a nap in the warmth of the sunshine! So today, I must tackle some chores... no excuses! Although, I don't work tomorrow... so I can leave a few things for then!
