The Good Day All Thread

Good Tuesday evening all. Currently 6°C and overcast. Environment Canada has issued a special bulletin for my area ... heavy rain changing to freezing rain and maybe flurries with strong winds tonight. Oh joy. I have tomorrow off work to take my daughter to an appointment but it sounds like it won't be gardening weather anyway. Will spring ever really get here?

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 2°C and raining. We had strong winds and heavy rains last night. While walking the dog this morning, I discovered a big hole in my rubber boot - again! I should get a job as a boot tester ... I just can't find a pair that lasts! Anybody know a good brand of boot that isn't going to cost me a small fortune? Geeze...
Off to the big city today for an appointment and our bi-yearly trip to 'The Mall'. I'll be looking for some boots...

 

Good morning everyone, Some of the Captain's rain has arrived so it's another day of dodging raindrops. The temperature will not make it out of the 40's. I can't wait to see if the nocturnal muncher has 'tested' another flower. :-(

Happy Wednesday morning everyone. Cloudy day.... but no rain expected. Windy and highs nearly at 90F. Finally had to turn on the A/C.

67F out there right now but gonna get to a high of around 87F today so im gonna go consume my daily honey and try to beat the afternoon sun. Think im gonna go work on the roses...

Its another cold day here, and yep......we got a dusting of snow overnight....so the ground is white.....again!!

 

Good morning everyone, it will be a bright blue sunny day with temperatures expected to rise into the mid 50's. Part of the day will have the wind chasing its tail at 24 mph, that will stir things up.

Well i think the sun zapped my energy yesterday being out in the sun around my roses for so long but i got some good sleep and am about to go on a seed hunting mission for someone on here in need.

First stop though is the pantry for a few spoonfuls of some good ol local honey!

Good Thursday evening all. Currently 4°C and sunny. This is a change from earlier - it has been cold, cloudy and windy most of the day. What a day I had! I'm really happy to sit and relax.

Good Friday morning all - literally!
It is also Earth Day, and the kids and I always clean up the neighborhood on this day. We usually end up with a recycling box full and a small bit of garbage. Hopefully there is even less this year.

Good Earth Day morning everyone, It is sunny and dry here in the Northeast, at least for now. The temp should be in the mid 50's. The Captain's rain arrives tomorrow.
