A really nice cool start to the day... temps in mid50s. Cloudy with just a slight chance of rain. Should get up to 80 this afternoon... but expected to be in upper 40s tonight! Crazy Texas weather at it's finest. :D

    Good morning everyone,
Showers are expected as the temperatures climb into the upper 60's. The skunk is helping remove grubs from the lawn but has not learned to fix the holes after eating the grub. It smells like something died under the toolshed. Frogs are back in the pond.

Good morning all. I am finally feeling like there is hope that I will be gardening again before summer hits and I can sit at the computer for longer than a minute or two. It's been three and a half weeks since I have been able to do anything in the garden but stand and look at what badly needs to be done.

We got about 3 inches of rain Sunday thru Monday. A nice 18 hour steady, soaking rain is what we have needed for months. And it's cool too, 40 yesterday morning and 45 this morning.

Good evening all. Well...it was yet another rainy day today. I wish I could remember exactly how many days it has been raining now. I'm starting to wonder if I should be building an ark!
Toni, is your back still bothering you? I worked with a sore back for almost 4 weeks before I saw a Chiropractor. After I went I wondered why I waited so long!! You should go...you'll be glad you did.

Good Morning Everyone! today has rain in the forecast... but it's not raining right now. We just might get a fairly dry day. I'm thankful I'm not near the levee that got blasted. I wouldn't have anything left in my garden. I feel sooo bad for the farmers who have been affected by it. Hope you all have a good day. Carolyn

Good morning everyone, overcast skies will prevent me from getting sunburned as I work on the flower beds. Temps in the mid 60's will make for a comfortable day.
    Rain expected this afternoon.

Good Morning. We were blessed with a dry day yesterday and supposed to have another nice day today. HOORAY!!! Wow 2 in a row, I'm not sure if we can handle it. MY husband is actually going to work today. The first time in at least a week for a whole day job. Rain, day after day after day, is not conducive to excavating. :stew1: Have a great day everyone. Good morning everyone, The rains have stopped, the sun is trying to make an appearance and the temps may crawl into the mid 50's. I have more seeds to plant today.

    morning all,

more rain today, been raining all week which is a shame as i really could do with getting into the garden.

with a bit of luck might get some of the sunny weather this weekend that netty and penny have had.

Although we sowed a lot of grass seed last weekend so all this water with a sunny week next week should have the grass growing quickly.

Good day all. I will be working out in the yard tomorrow morning YEEHAW!!

NETTY, you were so right. I went to the chiropractor this afternoon, a few snaps, a couple of crackles and a pop or two and I can do things I haven't been able to do since April 10th.

Good Thursday evening all. It was a sunny day today and warm too. I had a busy day, then a Chiropractic appointment, then shopped, came home and cut the grass, weeded the back garden, made dinner, cleaned up, made tomorrows lunches, and had a shower. Now I'm going to play on my new computer until it is time for bed!!

I'm so glad you took my advice Toni! Have fun in your garden tomorrow, but don't snap, crackle or pop the wrong way! ;)
