Good morning everyone, we are on a roll with the third sunny day in a row. Temps in the low 80's, lots of gardening to do.

    Have a good one,
    Jerry

Happy Thursday morning! We got an inch of rain last night!!! My rain barrel is half full. I bet you could just hear the grass going "ahhhhhhhhhh"! :-D
Going to be another hot and muggy day.

Good Thursday evening all. It's 9°C and wet. We had over 20mm of rain since last night! I'm exhausted and wet...I worked out in the rain all day and I can't wait to climb under my cozy blankets and sleep!

    Good Thursday evening all.
Today we went to a wonderful native plant nursery, wandered through their display gardens and took loads of photos and bought some plants of course. I'll try to get some of them posted tonight, the rest will have to wait until Monday.

We are leaving tomorrow for a weekend in east Texas. We want to see what Jefferson and Marshall Texas have to offer. I know there are antique shops and in Marshall there is Marshall Pottery and I know we will find other goodies to check out on the way there and home. When we get home Sunday evening, our Anniversary week will be coming to an end and after the Memorial Day holiday on Monday it will be back to the old routine....with a couple of twists. ;)

Toni... while in Jefferson... look up the river boat rides on the Caddo. It's run by Hubby's best friend's brother. Johnny Nance. I'm sure if you ask anyone there they will give you directions. I've only been there once... but it was totally awesome! Nice place he has set up. He's one of the local historians. Has a quaint bookstore. Sings and plays the guitar if you just ask him. And the town is full of antique shops.
Hope you and Evil Roy brought the truck... you may find a whole lot of good junk out there! :D
    Have fun!

Good Friday morning all. Currently just 9°C and rainy-again. I'm starting sound like a broken record! Looks like another miserable day working in the rain ... I am NOT impressed! Hope everyone has a better day.

Good morning everyone, the clouds have broken the sunny day record at 3 :-(
With temps in the high 80's it will be a steamy one.

Good morning all. Packed up and ready to go, the motel in Jefferson doesn't have internet not sure if they have any place in town with free internet so we aren't taking the laptop. 2+ days without the Stew is going to be hard, guess I will just have to do a lot of retail therapy to keep my withdrawal symptoms at a minimum.

Cheryl, we took the river boat tour 15+ years ago, the first time we visited Jefferson. Glad to hear there are more goodie shops to wander through.

    See you all Sunday evening.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 12°C and overcast. Well at least it's not raining...yet! I had hoped to weed the gardens today and get the rest of the veggies in. The rain sure is making those weeds grow quickly! Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, the clouds have rolled in and will be here most of the day as the temperatures struggle to reach the high 70's. Nt a bad day for moving some plants.
