Jerry.... glad you are safe after the bad weather up there.
Sad about all the destruction these tornadoes have been causing.
Today here is pretty much like it was yesterday. Morning temps in mid70s and will ALMOST reach 100 today! YUCK! Slight chance of rain this weekend from the little "disturbance" out in the Gulf of Mexico.

Good Friday morning all. Currently just 6°C and sunny. The strong winds have finally moved on...my poor plants are all tattered. I got an interesting e-mail last night and today I am meeting up with a pal from high school I haven't seen in 25 years!! It's going to be an interesting day!

Good morning everyone, with the temperatures barely able to crawl out of the 60's it will be a good garden working day.

Happy Friday morning. Got up to 100F yesterday... with feel-like temps at almost 110F!! Finally had to use the AC in the truck on the way home from work.
Today will be about 5 degrees cooler! whoppeeeee! :D
There's a slight chance of rain tomorrow... I don't be holding my breath waiting on it though.

Sunny here today. Temps should be in upper 90's. We sat at the farm market all morning under our awning. Now, I'm cooling off in front of the a/c. Tomorrow farm market will move about 10 blocks to the courthouse square. That should prove interesting. dooley

Good Morning all. Currently 14° and overcast, looking like rain. I am tired today ... waited up very late for my daughter and then couldn't sleep. I have a few new things to plant today and if it doesn't rain I will be watering later.
Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. Another hot sunny dry day. Going to recycle the aluminum cans. The church is having a crawfish festival and Zydeco dance today. Going to go eat... but I'm sure I won't feel like going out dancing at 10PM!
Around the garden? Weed and water!

Good morning all. I am afraid that our days have settled into the humdrum of sunny, hot and dry and will probably stay settled for the next 3 1/2 - 4 months. You all are going to get so tired of the Texans whining about the weather.

I told Randy last night that I wanted to move to some place with no High Pressure System sitting over them all summer keeping any chance of nice rain away and no Heat Cap coming up from Mexico....he suggested North Dakota. Guess I'd better get packing.

Good day everyone, a great day for working in the garden and a bad day for weeds. The temperatures barely made it into the 70's before retreating into the upper 60's for the day. Sunny skies prevailed as the weeds took a permanent vacation.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 7°C and sunny. Yesterday's rain gave all the gardens a good drink and things are much happier. The weeds are happier too! I'll be outside weeding today :D

Good morning everyone, sunny, temp in the low 70's, it's like being on instant replay each day. :) Last night I asked the skunk to stop aerating the lawn, he scurried off to do someone else's lawn, I hope he remembers not to come back.

Good morning all. How close can the temperature come to 100 without actually crossing the line? We will see today and the next 2-3 more. There appears to be a lot of rain east of us so that weather pattern is continuing.

The installation of the dishwasher will be completed this afternoon.....I'm gonna miss washing dishes by hand....NOT.

Got up and walked each of the dogs around a block or two. The skies are blue and the temps are comfortably warm this AM. Will it actually hit 80F today?

Sorry Toni and those in Texas, what a heat wave! What will you do when the weather REALLY gets hot?
