No spring to speak of here in Iowa-now high 90's. Hung wash out dry in no time. 2 of our dogs in kennel --but have fan and Jerry just filled kids swimming pool with fresh water. 12 week old Lab pup loves it. Plus has shingled roof on kennel so got shade.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 20°C and sunny, but there is a nice breeze. It's going to be a scorcher today, so I'd better get to work before it gets too hot. Have a great day all :)

Good Wednesday morning. The usual mid70s morning and mid90s afternoon with only very very slight chance of a shower.
Used the water out of my rain barrel yesterday. It was about 3/4ths full. I managed to water everything in the back, except a couple of potted plants. Was a good excuse to give everyone a dose of Superthrive.

Good morning everyone, with temps expected in the mid 90's there will be little activity that does not involve an air-conditioned building. This morning some daylilies are a lot happier since the weeds that have been encroaching on their territory have been eliminated.

Good morning all. Already 80 degrees at 9:30 , I slept in and missed the 6-7 a.m. gardening hour this morning. Oh, well, I'll try to make it outside tomorrow.

Good THursday morning all. Currently 23°C and overcast. We had a SEVERE storm blow thru last night and I was caught driving in it. Made it home OK and still had to wait in the car in the driveway for about 20 minutes before being able to go inside. It was the scariest drive of my life! High winds, pounding rain and golf ball sized hail as well as constant lightening and thunder. We had some damage here, but not too bad. I'm sure I will have a lot of cleanup to do at work today. Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, the beginnings of a steamy day are falling now as a line of thunder storms pass through the area. Several storms in a row are giving the ground a soaking. The temps are expected to be in the upper 90's maybe if i put some veggies in a pot and placed them outside we would have steamed veggies for supper? Stay cool.

Happy Thursday morning. Another sunny day here... not quite as hot... the high should be in the mid-90s. Another nice afternoon shower would be nice... but not probable.

Hi everyone, Today isn't supposed to be 95* Yay! is all I can say. My sunburn had blisters on top of the blisters yesterday, so I soaked washclothes in epsoms salt water and used them as compresses last night. No more blisters today! And it's only supposed to be 89* today.

Good Friday morning all. Currently just 7°C and sunny. Wednesday's storm was a 'downburst' ... same damage as a tornado but a different storm. I don't care what it was called - it was SCARY and I hope there won't be any more of them this year!
ANother busy day today so I'd better get going. Have a great day all :D

Good morning all, I will save the weather reports from here until there is something different to report 'cause for the next 10-14 days we will continue to have upper 90's and no rain.

We have had the youngest grandson this week with the oldest here a couple of days too. Oldest has gone to counselor training for the summer day camp program at the Dallas Zoo, their Mom picks up the youngest this afternoon, our youngest daughter is at A-KON this weekend, Randy has a fence to repair out back but other than that it will be too hot to go anywhere...except out to eat
    ;)

Netty, those are very dangerous. a very strong 'downburst' called a 'microburst' is what caused the crash of Delta 191 in Aug 1985 not far from me at DFW international airport and several other air crashes over the last few years.

Good morning everyone, the sky opened up yesterday and 3/4 inch/2cm of rain made a lot of plants and the lawn very happy. Temps in the mid 70's will see more flowers finding their new summer home.
