Good Saturday morning. Nothing happening around here.
Hubby got up early this morning and started a fire in my Dad's big ol' smoker. The brisket just got put on. So... yummy supper planned for tonight!!

Good afternoon everyone, steady showers have put a dampner on outside activities. Cleaning the basement....my favorite chore :( Temps in the 60's, only the grass is having fun.

Good morning all. Worked in the gardens all day yesterday. Now I'm off to market. We are being visited by friends we haven't seen in several years. Must feed them well you know. Pulled pork, home canned green beans, potato or pasta salad, hot dogs for their kids. Sun tea and fresh squeezed lemonade, the kind Brits call Cloudy Day.

Good morning everyone, wet, wet, wet, the weather is not co-operating with outside plans so inside projects rule the day. Ever notice plants always want to go up? I tried to tell the mailbox Clematis to crawl down the trellis but it said no and continues its skyward journey. Temps in the 60's with rain. I think the grass is purring

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 12°C, windy and overcast. It was a busy week and another busy day yesterday...full day at the soccer field and then home to work in the gardens a little. I hope to just 'putter' around the house today.
Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. I didn't get a thing done yesterday. So I'm up a bit earlier than usual today. Want to get what mowing and trimming I need to do before it gets too hot. Then I'm afraid, it'll be time a bit of housework. :'(

Good Monday morning all. Currently just 9°C and sunny. A cool day ahead, with only 19°C expected...a great day for working outdoors. Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, If the showers hold off I can play in the dirt. Bushes get moved to a new bed formally occupied by a large oak. Annuals will add color. The temps steadfastly refuse to exit the 60's making garden work cold and damp. It is, however, better than rain all day.

    Stay dry,

    Jerry

Good Monday afternoon. No work today... the AC is being replaced. Too hot outside to do anythiing now. Will go visit a cousin that's here from Georgia. Then once it cools off enough, I'll see about getting the watering done.

Good evening all. 10 1/2 hours of work. Just home and walked the gardens. Pulled a few weeds here and there, planning the gardening work for the week and weekend. Expained to the missus about deadheading roses, since she wanted them afterall. :D

Good late afternoon all. Randy was off today and we had some errands to run so we took off early this morning so we could be home before the hottest part of the afternoon.
Well, as it turned out I was walking through the plant section of HD when the temperature reached 100 degrees for the first time this year. Funny but there was something about selecting new plants that made it feel cooler than it really was. I will not be going plant shopping tomorrow when the temp hits 100 again just to prove or disprove that theory though.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 11°C and sunny. I think it is going to be another sunny, but cool day. We were up late at soccer last night so I am very tired this morning. It's going to be a very L O N G day for me I think!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, today is going to be overcast with showers. Not a very good day for planting some shady perennials. Perhaps I can plant between the raindrops, with temps in the upper 50's I won't get hot.

Happy Tuesday morning. Same weather as the last week or so. Waiting to hear from my boss if the AC at the office is fixed before I make the hour commute.

It's another 100 plus degree day here and the sun is shining bright. We're headed to College Station for another doctor appointment. After you turn 70 they seem to think you should start falling apart so they want you to come more often.
