Good morning all. This hard freeze nonsense is getting old. I'm ready for higher temps. Excitement this weekend? Trying out the new swimming pool at the just reopened gym. Doesn't that sound exciting. Oh, and we have tickets to "One Mo Time", a great play that originated in NO, almost 20 years ago, went off Broadway and around the world. And is now back. I saw it on its opening night because the piano player was a friend of mine. Now another friend is the musical director. We are looking forward to the re-play.

Good morning! I'm up early and off to work today. I was so lazy yesterday. I read a whole book and didn't do much else. Oh, we did go to some yard sales. Temp is about 34F right now, going up to 65. Tomorrow only 50's and rain. Dooley

Morning once again you all. Just under feezing last night, Thursday night it got down to 20 overnight. That is some good sleeping weather, window open with a window fan on, the waterbed heater turned up a bit and the quilts stacked on top.

Randy and I are taking off for a mini getaway. We are going to a local hotel with books to read and a bag of food and plan on locking ourselves away from the outside world for a few hours. If we stay home, there will be things that keep us on the go as usual and we are tired of being on the go. Besides, the hotel has cable TV (we don't) which means I can watch HGTV

Good morning all 10th December from sunny Malmö. Yes I said sunny, really bizarre weather everything is still too warm. I have heard reports of bears in Sweden not hibernating because of the temperatures.

    Current temps: 5 deg C / 41 deg F
    Current music: Prince - Love

    Have a great Sunday!

Good morning all . Warmer herein La. 70's later in the week. Tomorrow trip tp New Orleans to nuerosurgeon for back checkup to make sure I don't have any loose screws. I could just stay home and let him read my poetry and decide for himself, would save money too don't you think.

Good morning all. I woke up to a list of unauthorized withdrawals from my paypal account, so have closed it and am now trying to call them. They tell me they are open from 4am to late PST daily. I think no one has arrived at work yet.
So now I have a closed account and no way to get funds from sales. Happy day.

Bummer Jan :( I'm very surprised PayPal don't have 24 hour support. I just assumed they did.

I have finally spoken with a Paypal lady. She tells me I should have left the account open and filed a complaint with the resolution center. She took the info and will file the complaint. It should take about 10 days to resolve, but I'll bet my 200 bucks is gone forever. I have started all the proceedings to open a new account, but that takes several days, especially if you start on Sunday. I am gonna lose many dollars from web site sales and Amazon sales. Damn damn damn.

Good morning! Clouds all around. Forecast is some rain off and on. It was sunny when we got up but that's disappeared. It's about 35F right now, going up to 50F, maybe. DR is filling the wood box. Hope things are resolved to your satisfaction, Jan. Dooley
