Good morning all. Not supposed to hit the 100 degree mark today and after 7 days straight of that heat this feels like a cold front, only 82 degrees at 9:30 a.m. It was 104 on Saturday and I wondered why I felt like a big puddle of water wearing glasses that day.

Bunkie I'll take the cold wind off your hands and give you all the sunshine you can handle.

Later this week I am going to pull up all the sad and dying tomato plants out back. What the squirrels and birds don't get the wind and sun dry out and their suffering is causing me great distress. I think I will head to the garden center tomorrow morning and pick up several plants to replace them with.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 16°C and clouding over. It was 20°C and sunny when I got up so I'm hoping we are going to get some rain. A late night last night so I'm very tired today. Have a great day all :)

Good Morning All, not a whole lot going on here today, getting ready for a farmers market for tomorrow, baking my famous oatmeal bread and potato bread and maybe some cookies. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning all and it is a good start to the day. We had some rain last night, freakish thunder, lightning, hail and rain stormed rolled across us during the early hours leaving my plants nitrogen charged and basking in 2.25 inches of rain.

Might get more today and tomorrow and the temps will be down in the lower 90's instead of hovering around 100 like yesterday....almost like a summer cool front...but not really.
An now the sun is trying to break through the clouds and ruin my nice rainy day mood

Good day everyone, the day was another winner with temps in the 80's. A perfect day for gardening.

Happy Tuesday night.... we got almost 1/2 inch of rain today!
I've learned not to put so much faith in the weather forecast. According to them, it should have been raining here around supper-time.
Alas... all the clouds have been bypassing us and looks as though they have made their way towards Louisiana and/or "deep" East Texas.
Still have my fingers cross for tomorrow's 70% chance of rain forecast.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 17°C and overcast. The heavy rain that was supposed to hit was barely enough to wet the ground. I do hope we get more!
I'm exhausted again today...I think it is going to be a very LONG day! Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday Morning! Rain! Yes! It arrived! Made for sort of a treacherous commute into work at some times, but it's all good! Sure hope this system left some rain at the house. Can't wait to get home to check the rain gauge.

Good morning all. Another 1.5 inches of rain fell on us last night then headed south, very glad to hear that it got to you Cheryl I was really hoping it would. It will be interesting to see how long it is before we get more.

I plan on getting some weeding done this afternoon... bet I won't have to struggle with some of the tougher one's since the ground is nice and wet.

Good morning everyone, the cold damp chilly mornings are back. Prospects for temps to hit 70 are nil. I will stay dry, indoors, watch the rain water the flowers and tend the houseplants. :)
