    Happy day everyone,

I've been cooking most of the morning for the monthly Sacred Harp singing. Hillbilly gumbo (leftover beans, onions, meat, and peppers) and cornbread. The singing is at 3 with dinner on the grounds at 4 then singing till 6. Light drizzle most of the morning, no outside work today.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 11°c and sunny. The Kildeer are very noisy this morning, I'm not sure what is bothering them. Today will be a busy day...work, dentist, groceries and then a late soccer game with my son. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday Morning. Nothing knew around here.
No work today, so I might try to get a start on cleaning up the garage.

It is typical cool, damp morning with much to do and not wanting to do any of it. Need rain and not condensation, otherwise I am going to have to water. Maybe a walk to the local Starbucks? Procrastination is a wonderful word. :-D

Good morning all. Some people call this weather paradise, but I am not one of them. We will soon be in the driest part of the year here, July and August. The time of the year when our water bill reaches for the moon. The time of the year when the plants are throwing themselves on the windows to let me know they need watering for the third time each day. I'm thinking a trip to Alaska would be the best way to spend those months.

Good day everyone, A nice day with temps in the mid 80's. Cleaning the deck is keeping me out of the garden except for moving flowers from the deck. Last years daylily seeds look like grass, they will find their semi-perminant home tomorrow. I am keeping an eye on the two fuzzy lawnmowers as they hop around the yard. So far they have munched only weeds.

Happy Tuesday morning. Back at the office to start my work week.
I have a cousin in town from New Mexico visiting his Mom and family... looking forward to seeing him this evening.
I started some white marigolds from seed... I think they are just about ready to put in the ground.... either this evening or tomorrow.

Good morning everyone, the weeds are in trouble as I root out the pesky garden freeloaders. With the temps in the low 80's shade gardening will be comfortable.
Rain is not expected till 7:17. :)

Morning all. A few clouds out this morning but they won't be producing anything except a light shade once in a while.

I know the sun is behind them, I can see it's ugly orb peaking through the occasional hole in the clouds as it moves higher in the sky. It's just sitting back there, biding it's time, knowing that it still rules the sky and will return to full prominence shortly. Once again to reign it's awesome and terrible rays down upon the land to wither plants and melt into puddles anyone and everyone who might be outside and under it's jurisdiction.

But for me, I am going to stay inside with the AC on Arctic Blast and stare at the photo of Jewel's snowcapped mountain.
