Good Sunday morning all. Currently only 72F, but, you can see the air  Weeding and hoing will commence as soon as I get some coffee down. New blades for the riding mower later. Have a fun and productive day.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 17°C ans sunny. A lot of thunder and lightening last night, but no rain (darn it!) Today is Sunday - the day in which I refuse to leave the property. So you will find me out in the garden :)
Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Already in the 80s at 7:30am. I'd better get to that mowing and weed-eating before it really gets hot!

I am so surprised to find almost 3" of rain in the gauge this morning. It was a mild thundershower overnight. Guess I won't need to water anything today.

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends! We had our holiday on Friday, so it's off to work for me this morning.

    Good morning all.

HAPPY 4th of JULY to the U.S. 235 yrs and counting.
There are some fireworks shows happening tonight, only the professionally run ones though. We will be keeping an eye on our neighbors who don't think the burn ban includes fireworks or them.

This morning is the first chance I have had in a while to get more plant in the ground so I'm heading out the door.

Happy 4th of July! Celebrated last night. One of my cousins has his usual campaign fundraiser 4th of July party. He's a county official.

Today in the garden... need to finish giving everything a nice long slow drink of water.

Good morning everyone, wow!! Everyone slept in yesterday. The high 80's and humidity will keep gardening to early morning and late afternoon.

Happy Wednesday morning! We got almost 1.5 inches of rain yesterday! Woohoo! The plants loved it... and the grass was almost jumping up & down with joy! :-D
Guess I'll pickup any debris from yesterday's winds when I get home... and do some weeding.

Yea!!! Cheryl got rain yesterday. I am jealous but you all need it much more than we do.
We saw big rain clouds off in the far distance yesterday afternoon but they weren't coming our way.
Just another hot, humid and dry day here....but only 11 more weeks until the Equinox when the temps usually begin staying in the lower 90's for highs on a regular basis.

Another lovely sunny day! Getting into the 80's F. again. The soil is dry and am trying to get everything watered this AM. It really feels like summer :-D

Good Wednesday afternoon all. Currently 27°C and mostly cloudy. We need some rain.
I've been starting work early this week to beat the heat and get home earlier. I like it, but no time to 'stew' in the morning anymore. I forgot to check my zucchini for 2 days and yesterday I picked 12! Wow!

Happy Thursday morning. Same old weather. Slight chance of rain this afternoon.
Got a little start on cleaning up the succulent bed... too many weeds popping up. Will see about getting them stopped this weekend with more newspaper or cardboard and mulch... or rocks (if they're not too expensive).
