    Good Friday morning all. Currently 16°C and cloudy. The skies will be clearing up and another nice day ahead. Another day of dragging hoses ... I sure hope we get some rain! Have a great day all :)

    Good Morning all.
    Guess who is voluntarily going to spent the afternoon about 2 hours west of here in the heat that has been ranging between 105-110 all summer? Today is the family dinner and council marking the end of the week of Boy Scout camp for my two grandsons. Since their Mom would have to make that drive and the one home well after dark by herself, I told her I wanted to go with her...her going alone just didn't sit well with me.

    I have a cooler for water and several cans of Chrysanthemum tea, a couple of thin towels to wet and drape around my neck, a parasol for shade and a couple of hats. Going to wear shorts, which I very seldom do out in public and hope I don't frighten any small children who happen to be there. :rolleyes:

    We will be leaving around 2 and getting home somewhere around midnight. Think of me today because I really don't tolerate this heat very well.

    Good Saturday morning all. Currently 14°C and sunny. I'm loving the nice sunny weather a LOT, but my gardens are thirsty.
    We need some rain!
    Laundry and house cleaning today and watering some plants. Have a great day all!

    Happy Saturday morning. Started the day off with a tad bit of rain and it's a bit overcast. Good day to get out and do some weeding. Fingers crossed that it will rain even more... that way I'm forced inside the house to get stuff done! :-D

    It is going to be a beautiful sunny day today. Been working in the yard pulling bind weed and laying bark paths this AM. Am almost finished with one section and ready to start a couple of other sections. :rolleyes: Maybe a smaller yard??? :D

    Another perfect gardening day after a walk to the local bakery for a treat and latte. Into the 70's again today. My weeding walkways through some beds are finished on 1/2 of my front garden. Am working on some in the backyard now.

    Happy Sunday morning. Got an early start to the day... back from the store by 8am. Got the succulent bed all fixed up. Just need to water everything. Whew! It's hot out there!

    Happy Monday morning!
    No work for me today
    so I get to stay home and play!
    Need get some weeding done and mow at least my part of the yard. It seems to be the only spot that's growing since that area gets watered regularly.
    Still going to be hot, but there's some clouds out. Slight chance of rain... so I'd better get started.
