Good morning everyone, one word, HOTTER. The plants that need it get their watering, after that it is inside for most of the day. The basement workshop will be a cool place to work.

Cool, and feels like being at the ocean...windy, wet, and in the high 50s. Got some inside projects to do.

I don't believe that I can ever remember it being this hot before. the humidity and heat is like a sauna outside. Today I will clean the house, instead of being in the garden. It surely needs it.

Good morning everyone, it is another one worder today, HOTTEST. I am going to jump in a lake, I will not however, take my computer with me. :) One of those kids in the Pacific has been playing with the thermostat again, either la Nina or el Nino. Stay cool.

Morning all, same old same old with n end in sight for us.

Jerry, La Nina moved into the pacific last Aug/Sept and was expected to be done and gone by June but evidently decided it liked watch us down here sweat, then had so much fun making the upper midwest miserable that it wants to stay a while longer. Might not ever want to leave after watching the folks on the east coast boil like lobsters.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 21°C and sunny. Taking my daughter to work and then doing some shopping. Hopefully I'll have some quality garden time today before it gets too hot. I weeded the veggie patch last night - first time in 3 weeks - and got a whole heaping wheelbarrow full of weeds. And picked another 14 zucchini  Today I need to pick the peas and beans. Have a great day all!

Good morning everyone, the skies opened up this morning and it is now raining. The heat wave has been washed away and cooler temperatures prevail. The plants are dancing in the rain. :)

Good morning everyone. The weather this past week really sapped my energy. I slept in til 7:00 AM. Started up the smoker with a shoulder and some ribs. As soon as the missus is done using water in the house, I'll bypass the softener and start watering. I'm so glad I'm on a well. BTW, it is cooler here this morning, only 78 F at 7:30 AM.

Happy Saturday morning. Thought I heard thunder rumbling this morning. I must have been dreaming! Yesterday, the rains were to the west of us.
So... today I need to drag out the water hoses and give everything, especially the fruit trees, a good soaking.
One of my cousins is in from California, will make time to go visit with her this afternoon.

Good morning everyone, cooler is better. With the temps in the mid 80's people will melt less and gardening activities can begin again. Now, to take those shovels away from those pesky chipmunks. The flower beds are getting to look like Swiss cheese.
