Happy Sunday morning. I can't see the sun. Hopefully it'll stay overcast until I get the mowing/trimming finished... and if's going to rain... that would be a nice time.
Nothing else planned... going to be lazy the rest of day. The brothers are due back this evening...so much for peace and quiet! :D

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 19°C and cloudy. It is nice to have a cooler morning for a change...I had to wear a sweater when I walked the dog this morning. Today I'll work in the garden until it gets too hot and then lounge by the pool. I'm not feeling very ambitious today :)

Happy Monday morning. Another overcast day, but doesn't appear to be any rain in those clouds.
Got all my chores done over the weekend, so today, I think I'll go visit a couple of my aunts.
And this evening, it will be time to give the plants a drink.

Good day all. I am not usually onhere during the day, but I got called back home this morning - my husband is not feeling well. He is resting now but is so dizzy that he can't stand up. Hoping he will feel better when he wakes from a nap.

Good Morning. We got showers yesterday and it was a little cooler. I enjoyed the day. But today is a little warmer but breezy. Have a good day.

Guess what? We finally got RAIN last night! :smt041
The hydro was out most of the day, but it's on now and my gardens are watered and life is good again :)

Nothing special going on, a work day for me I was off ysterday, but went in and did bookwork for our Bike Shop. Came home and fertilized the bee balm and my new daisy I replanted.

Happpy Tuesday morning. Got a bit over 1/2 inch of rain yesterday! woohoo!
First day back to work after a short vacation.
Today is one of my aunts 94th birthday (our oldest living relative). I will be stopping by to see her on the way home from work. Think I'll pick her up a bouquet of flowers.

Good morning all. Got up to 106 here yesterday, jumped 2 degrees at around 8.p.m. and then dropped back down to 104 at 10 p.m.
We passed many, dead or dying cotton and maize crops on our trip south Sunday...and harvest time isn't until Sept. so there will be a lot of way in debt or bankrupt and hungry farm families this year. :(

Good Tuesday evening all. Currently 21°C but it fells alot cooler due to the gusty winds. It was a refreshing change to have to wear a jacket this morning! I picked another 12 zucchini today, a huge bowl of beans and a basket of peas. I love garden season :D

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 13°C and clear. I slept great last night with the cool breeze blowing in on me. It's been a long time since I had to use blankets! I'm off for an early start at work. Have a great day all :)

Blazing morning here....again. The overnight low was only 85 again so that means a high of around 103-105 again.

I was given almost a 1/2 bushel of Parker County Peaches yesterday. Those are premium peaches around here and especially this year since the heat and drought cut way back on the crop numbers. So I will be making peach jam, oldest daughter got them from the parents of one of her students, she kept some and will be making the peach pies.

The house is going to smell heavenly today!!!! But first I need to set the AC on arctic blast to counteract the heat from the stove.

    OOH I simply love peaches.

    Hello everyone.
It rather cool morning for us here. This winter is extremely dry here in Cape Town while it is snowing in some of our other provinces.

I got so many errands to run and preparation to do. Got to go. Have a good stewing day ya all. :stew1:
