Good morning everyone, today I will be gardening in the shade where the temps are about 78 - 80. Assisted by furry helpers some perennials will have new homes. This requires the chipmunks to dig holes BEFORE I put in the plants, they seem to have it backwards.

    hello all,

It has been hot. It will be hot. It is currently hot. The humidity has been high. The humidity will be high. The humidity is currently high. I took some photo's of some canna hybrids and cultivars of mine, I just time out when trying to upload them to the site. A touch of food poisioning overnight. Worked all day on 2 hours sleep. Tree service on the way to estimate removal of one and trimming of five others. I hope it is cheaper than I think it will be.

Good Morning all. Glad to see everyone greet the day with so much good cheer. :stew1:

All day yesterday and so far today I have not seen or heard a bird or squirrel. Why would they go away all at once? It's just to quiet out there.

Good morning everyone, miscellaneous outside chores will be scattered about a rather warm day. Thunder storms are predicted. I hope they are nothing like the storm the Captain had in Ohio.

Good morning! It's going to be 106 today and the humidity will be in the 80's. We had a zero percent chance for rain last night and dr washed the truck yesterday so of course we had a thunder and lightning storm last night. About 5 minutes worth of rain but the thunder and lightning lasted about half an hour. You can't even tell it rained. Every thing is dry and dusty this morning.

I wonder what would happen if everyone in Texas would wash their truck on the same day. :?: :)

With our drought, we'd probably deplete the ground water with no way to replace it.

Donna, I don't do cherry good mornings in the summer when the temperature is above 100. The best I can do is Morning which is simply acknowledging that it is morning as opposed to being afternoon or evening. ;)

Morning all, temp was 107 yesterday will be hotter. Roughly 6 weeks without rain.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 19°C and overcast. We did get a bit of rain overnight. It is getting darker in the morning...am I the only one noticing that? It makes me sad.
Have a good day all :)

Good day everyone, a perfect day for outside stuff, temps in the 70's and the humidity is low. I am working on a knife drawer for the Mrs., when finished there will be slots for 40 knives.

Another busy day at work today and then a chiropractic appointment this afternoon.
I'm ready to get re-aligned to say the least!! Have a great day all :)

Afternoon all, it's 108 at 3 p.m. wonder how much hotter it will get before we reach the actual hottest part of the day which is between 5-7 p.m.

I got the water bill yesterday and since July's bill wasn't much more than June's I might be able to continue watering the garden. But cities are beginning to enforce water restrictions so I might not be for much longer.

Good day everyone, another perfect day? Three in a row, I could get use to this. Temps in the mid 70's, low humidity and few clouds.

Riley never had it this good.:) :) :)
