Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 17°C and overcast. Torrential rains yesterday watered everything well and I had an early work day. More rain in the forecast today...wonder if we can do it again LOL Have a great day all :)

Good morning! It's already on it's way to being hot here. I got up early and went out and worked in the front yard. I haven't been out doing that in awhile. It was okay until the sun came up over the horizon.

Morning all. Summer 2011 is really ticking me off. Breaking the record of 42 days from 1980 is one thing but it has been doing it by breaking bunches of records.

I continue to sit inside and watch plants go dormant and die even after watering for hours each evening.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently just 12°C brrr! A brisk north west wind makes it feel like autumn has arrived and I'm not liking it! Staying home from work today with a stomach bug but I'm sure I won't get much done around the house.
Have a great day everyone :)

Happy Thursday everyone. Not much happening around here... another 100+F day. Just keeping things watered and alive. My little baby rose that I started from seed had leaves dying off. I think it was from the heat, so I snipped them off and brought the little plant indoors.
I'm ready for Fall to start heading this way!

Good morning everyone, chilly Willy would like today's dawn temperatures. High 50's greeted me this morning, then the sun warmed the air to a comfortable 77*F.
The annual hunt for flower seeds is on. :)

Morning all. Jerry now you are bragging, cut it out or I will send a few triple digits your way ;)

Yep another 100+ day in store and from the forecast there are at least 7 more waiting in line to show off their stuff and all of the dry as a bone.

In Maui (HI) it is always in the 80's F. Could get used to this. Life is not only wonderful, but just the right temperature in the Pacific Ocean. ;)

Good morning everyone, it is sunny and........oops.....does anyone see Toni? Shhhh! :) The temp is between 72 and 74 but don't tell Toni. Shhhh!! The seeds are ripening, so many I hope I can stay ahead of the birds. Oh, the Mrs just got her new curtains in. Afternoon project, install new rod and hang curtains.

Happy Saturday morning. Too hot to do too much garden work... but I do have a couple little sprucing up jobs. Then, I'm afraid, I'll be house-bound for the most of the day. YUCK!

Good morning everyone, a bit nippy this morning. Yesterday a creature left some large mystery seeds in the birdbath along with a half eaten caladium seed pod. The little creatures are starting to gather seeds too.
