Good Sunday morning all. And a good morning it is...we had rain overnight! Currently 16°C and overcast and chance of showers. Lots of house work to do today and then hopefully time for a bit of weeding. Have a great day all :)

We could use some rain. Lawns are getting Brown looking in some places. we put new storm door on-lot harder. they don't have hinge all ready put on. Found that out when I asked handle hole on left side. But still have to drill hole for handle. But kept about$300 in our own pocket doing it our self. New dog will not like-she's use to pushing button with nose. And letting herself out

Happy Sunday morning. Time for me to head outside and finish the mowing and trimming. At least what's left has to be done with the riding mower, so it won't be that strenuous. And I totally blew off doing any house work yesterday (go figure) so that is a top priority for this afternoon.

I went out early and pulled weeds and watered trees. I still have weeds to pull but it's getting toward done. dr will mow or use weed eater on grass, etc. He is going to put a gate from drive to front yard before weekend. Going to be hot again today but no rain. The rain from last week is all dried up like it never was.

Good day all--It is warm and partly sunny here today. I head out to western NY state tomorrow, so I am getting packed up today. Hubbie recorded a bunch of podcasts for me to listen to on the ride. :)

Another gorgeous day! Our first day of the year yesterday to get into the high 80s. A few high clouds today but still warm. Hopefully the wool rugs washed yesterday will dry and be fresh for another couple of years. Should get motivated and start on touching up the trim paint on the house....maybe :-D

we could use a good slow all day rain. Now that Iowa State fair is over. At least temps was nice for people who went. Got lot of ideas there.Just wish I had $$$ to match them. We picked up 20 bags of mulch for one of our cleaning customer. Since my DH retired from Amana he's been helping me. customer love him-give him Honey Do List. We laid landscaping fabric. Customer on very steep hill-clay soil. Bent some those soil staples. Like cement. But this is Monday got to go back to work-weekends go by so fast. :'(

Good Monday morning all. Currently a cool 11°c and windy. We had severe storms yesterday and a town a few hours northwest of us had a tornado touch down with winds over 300 km/hour. The town is in ruins and in a state of emergency.
We had high winds here and heavy rain, but luckily there was no damage other than a few branches down. I'm off to work this morning hoping the damage wasn't too bad there. Have a great day all :)

Hi Netty--Sorry to hear about the tornado. Glad it did not come your way. (A friend's brother in Brimfield lost his home in a tornado June 1st.)

We are due to have sun and low 80's F today (MA). A beautiful day.

Afternoon all. Our days are beginning to cool down....only 102 yesterday and maybe only 103 today. Last Friday and Saturday were both 107 and broke record high temps for both days.
And there two nights coming that will actually be under 80 degrees, that ought to chill the bones.

Good morning everyone, it was a bit nippy this morning, the temp was 56°F. Last night as a very tired me was putting my medication back in the refrigerator, a very excited moth flew into it, attracted by the light. I invited the moth to come out of the cold but it refused. Not wanting to 'play' hide-n-seek with the winged intruder I shut the door. The funeral was held this morning, burial will take place tomorrow as today is trash day.

looks like we might get some much needed rain. Hummers sure have been busy here this year. Have gone through 15# of sugar this summer. Watching three right now. but have trying to attract more and more for long time. will be sad when they go south.
