Good morning! It was cool this morning so I pulled all the dead stuff out of the garden area. Then, breakfast and a short rest. Then, I went and pulled big weeds out of the back yard. It's beginning to look much better but still a way to go.

Happy Saturday evening! It was such a beautiful day that I finally came indoors.
Took one of my aunts into town to do her grocery shopping. Then went and visited another aunt.
Got home and just lazed around and did absolutely nothing. Kicked back in the lawn chair and had a good long nap. Tomorrow... I must be more productive. Or not!
    :p

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 11°C and sunny. I had a busy morning and a lazy afternoon yesterday. I wonder if I can do the same today? Have a great day all!

Happy Sunday morning. Another beautiful day. But some 100F temps predicted for the upcoming week. I'd better get some mowing and weeding today.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 17°C and cloudy. The sky was a little red this morning so maybe there is a storm on its way. We do need some rain.
Off to work - blah! I hate Mondays!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, watching grass grow,,,,,only out of the corner of my eye. A contractor redid part of the front lawn where an old oak tree stood. the grass will come up later this week. Today I will sort thru old house pictures.

Good morning all. Yep, we are looking at 100+ for the next three days. Looks like we will be breaking the 1980 record afterall.

There is a slight chance of a few rain drops sometime next week, but only if the high pressure system sitting on top of us takes a vacation to somewhere else in the country.

Good Morning All, I feel so guilty complaining, but we got another 2 huge storms yesterday and about 2" of rain. :( I sure wish we could send this down to all of you in Texas who so badly need it. Everything( plants) here thinks that it is June. the grass never quit growing here this summer. August was as green and nice as June. July was awful, though. On the flip side, we had very minimal Japanese Beetle infestation this year. I may have been just about able to count them. Today is supposed to be 78f. and sunny. hope you all have a great day!

Good morning all, actually it's afternoon, but none the less a beautiful day. It's sunny and bright, with temperatures in the mid 80's. It's a bit windy, but I won't let that be a problem. Mimi is in the lake swimming. Fall is showing it's colorful face in the area, but it is limited to the color starting to show up in the trees. Enjoy the day, it's worth it.

Looks like I better get tarps ready to cover some plants later this week. To have frost. And watched tv said SE Iowa worst corn crop yield in 20 years. The crops around here look pretty good.
