Good afternoon all. It's 2:41 pm and already the temperature is 104, should top out at 106 today. Then one more 100+ day before a nice thing happens....the high pressure system that has parked it's ugly tushie on top of us for almost a year will vanish and MAYBE we will get some rain next week. At least the temperatures will be well below last month if nothing else.

Good day everyone, I wonder if watching grass grow is like watching water boil? No grass yet. I did collect more seeds today. Nature packs a whole flowering plant in such a small space including the instruction manual. Amazing!!

Good morning all. Yesterday was a record breaker in a couple of ways....the temp was 107 - highest ever for Sept 13 and the year 2011 rose to first place over 1980 with 70 days of 100+ temps. NOW can we please get on with fall and cooler weather. Still no rain but might be some next week, only 20% chance though.

Good day everyone, the same thing happened yesterday. The day went by so fast the sun is starting to set and the original chore for this morning still sits there. I guess I will try again tomorrow.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently a chilly 5°C and clear. It's going to be a cool day today with only a high of 15°C expected. I guess fall is really setting in. Have a great day all!

Good morning everyone, the humidity meter is pegged at 100%, the air is dripping with moisture. With a line of thundershowers headed this way the remainder of the day will be wet.

GOOOOOOOOOD morning all. Only 66 deg this morning and cloudy. Only a slight chance of rain, that means the people around the corner might get a sprinkling and I won't see a drop.

The 90's will be back by Saturday :( I am guessing that fall weather will show up some time around the Winter Solstice.

Happy Thursday morning. A beautiful morning with temps in low 70s. I think the high will only be around 97. So much better than 103! I was noticing on my commute to work a few trees along the road were changing colors. Not sure if it really is a hint of Fall or they are just dying from the heat and lack of water.
