No rain here today,..as yet,..its likely to arrive out of habit,lol,..but our temperature has rocketed today,..26C-78F,..now that's some change from yesterday which was 18C-64F.

warming up the Jeep to go to church. Cold. Lot colder then normal.Going to just rest up after church. Too much on ladder yesterday. Night time leg cramps-BIG TIME.

Good day everyone, it was a day filled with everything except gardening. Well.....maybe a glimmer. My wife had her 50th class reunion last night it was a well attended evening event with dinner. The next morning featured a brunch and a tour of her old school which is closed due to budgetary reasons. The doors creaked open once again and in they filed as they did 50 years ago. The school had seen many iterations of students since they last walked the halls but some vestiges of their time there could be found. Their fading memories filled in gaps as they went from room to room recalling teachers and events. I took lots of pictures. In many corners they lingered and reminisced. It would probably be their last time within this childhood sanctuary. Time does not leave too many things untouched. For well past the meeting hour they talked in small groups linked as they were by their years together. Later by ones and twos they bid each other farewell and returned to today, their memories refreshed, till perhaps the next time.

Nope, Nothing serious. Colds that the children shared with us :-? thanks, but no thanks is really my thoughts. Now I'm off to bed for some needed rest. Good night All.

 

Good Monday morning all. Currently 13°C and overcast. No new car for me yet...I can't seem to decide what I want! The dealerships were closed yesterday so we looked around. Off to work today in my noisy old one.

Its supposed to be a nice day here, so i plan on puttering outside since i'm home today.....need to rake and pick some tomatoes and peppers.

 

Hello Stew friends. It's a chilly 37°F here this a.m., so I'll be waiting for the mercury to climb a bit before I head out to work in gardens. Autumn is upon us. Been enjoying great weather for several weeks now.
We usually have a beautiful show of colors to close out the growing season. Burning Bushes beginning to "burn", Asters and Mums are doing their thing, Maples beginning to turn their brilliant reds and yellows, etc. etc.

Good Day All, supposed to be WET here AGAIN today. I'm starting my grape juice today. hope to make about 75 quarts of it this year. I didn't have grapes last year, so we haven't had it for a while. We do miss it. Have a great day!

It is cool, cloudy and windy here today. The temp is 60 and the winds 15 to 20 mph. I had to get my jacket out. I am going to Texas this week where it is a bit warmer. wannabe
