The Good Day All Thread

Good morning everyone,

Its another rainy morning...but thats fine by me, with the rain that means no snow!!!!

Was supposed to go to Toronto today, but when Brad and i went out after supper lastnight, the truck was making a funny sound, so i am calling the Ford dealership to see if they can get me in today

 

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 9°C and raining. Another rainy day so I have the day off. Lots of cleaning to do today.

Good morning! It's cool here this morning, less than 50 degs. I wouldn't mind the cool since it's been so hot here but it's windy, too so it makes it feel cooler and it goes right through my shirt. I think a heavier one is called for, at least until the sun comes up. We're off to the library this morning.

Happy Thursday morning. A very cool start to the day.... 44F. Highs should again reach the upper 70s. But will be warmer the next few days. Still nothing but sunshine.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 9°C and overcast. Walking the dog this morning in the dark and something was there...dog went to chase it and pulled the leash and I fell down! Got a hole in my pants and was thankful that we have had a lot of rain and the ground was soft! Thank goodness the only ones who saw was the neighbors horses!

Good Day fellow Stewers, LOL Well, I took my car to a new repair shop yesterday because I heard a sound and felt some vibrating. They found nothing wrong with it and said it was in good condition. Must have been the a rough road I was on. Now you know they could have come up with all kinds of things wrong but they didn't.

Today I will go the my greenhouse and pick a very nice plant out there and give it to them.Probably a nice succulent so they don't have to water it so much. The woman there would be very happy with that.

Aloha everyone, day 5 in Hawaii has the daytime high of 85 and a nighttime low of 70. Yesterday we went parasailing over crystal blue water under a sky with an occasional puffy white cloud. Pictures later. Today we visit a volcano. Luau tonight.

Hi all. Got the day off form work, YAY! My computer says the temp is 52º right now. I havent even stepped outside so Ill take its word Moved my houseplants inside last night.

Made chocolate chunk cookies this morning Had to use butter-flavored crisco as I didnt have any real butter (and I refuse to use margerine!). They came out alright I guess...althoguh I really do prefer real butter!

 

Well, I cleaned out the tomatoes in the high tunnel and ended up with 1 whole bushel of tomatoes to make veg. juice. I got 27 quarts. enough for us for the year. Hope your day was as satisfying as mine.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 6°C and overcast. I have a lot of laundry which is going to have to wait until we get the walls done in the laundry room today. Hopefully the weather gets better later so I can get out and do some garden cleanup. Have a great day all

Off to the Daylily Farm this morning!

 

Good morning all. 37F currently. Lifted six varieties of canna yesterday, only ten more to go. Planted garlic and winter onions, and hauled 6 more yards of stall muckings for compost and garden beds. Also have a Sacred Harp singing to attend this afternoon. I think I'll go back to work tomorrow just to get some rest.

 

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 2°C and clear. Looks like we have patchy frost this morning. Today, finishing off the laundry room and hopefully cleaning up the gardens. Pulled the last of the carrots yesterday and picked some cherry tomatoes. I guess the gardening season really is over for the year
