Good morning all. Another 43 degree morning and I am loving it!!! No snow here, probably none this winter but I can always hope and send out snowy vibes to Mother Nature for some or lots.

Well the Texas Rangers lost the World Series last night but it wasn't for a lack of playing ability. They gave the Cardinals a run for their money and made them earn the pennant. Any time a second time Series contender sets as many league records as the Rangers did in their playoff games and the World Series games they have to have given the older teams with more wins under their belts food for thought. Sooo, there's always next year.

Happy Saturday morning. Yesterday was a cloudy, windy and cold. We lit the heater last night for the first time this year. Today started off in the mid40s but it's supposed to be in the lower 70s later on. And there's plenty of sunshine!
One of my cousins is in town visiting, so I need to spruce up the house and put on a pot of chili.
Once it warms up a tad outside, I'm sure there's some sprucing up to do there too since the winds blew down a few small branches.
I also got some more concrete block pieces from a friend yesterday, so I can get the final finishing touches around the "water trough".

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -3°C and sunny. We had a very heavy frost this morning, but no more snow just yet. So much housework to do, but I'm heading outside to work in the gardens shortly - as soon as all the frost melts. Have a great day all :)

Good morning, sort of! It's cold. In the 40's which is cold to me. Yesterday morning we got up at 6 am and it was 38 and there was a thin layer of ice on the truck windshield. I didn't go see if it's there today. I got up and made some hot tea. I think I'll drag out a winter quilt or two and my lap robes today. The bears are sitting on the trunk so I'll have to evict them first.

Happy Sunday morning. Another cool start to the day with lows in the mid40s and lots of sunshine. Highs will be in the 70s again. Which makes a great day for the church's Fall Bazaar. Last night was the Zydeco dance. Didn't go. Will go over around lunch time and pick up our BBQ dinners and then go back a little later to visit everyone, play Bingo and see if we won anything in the raffle. Hopefully there's some cool stuff in the silent auction again. Last year I got the Esperanza plant and it's doing great!

Crisply cold and windy today. Heavy frost on everything this morning. I had to heat the car up to defrost it.

Kathy, Didn't you get any snow last night??? I got about a foot..

Everything is covered and tree limbs are coming down all over the place. I even lost that old apple tree in the back that I was going to cut down next Spring.

Boy, we sure lost allot of trees this year with all the rain and flooding and now this snow.I try to replace fallen trees with little ones. It's a good thing, I guess.

What can I add to this post without everyone hating me. It was a beautiful cool day. We had lots of wonderful rain and the garden's growing. 8) The sun was out for a little while. Day's in the 80's(F), mornings in the mid 60's. But I do miss the snow. Domn what a wonderful picture. I love the snow scene. Purple car...I must keep my eyes open for planter possibilities. Hmmmm, I'm going to go rummaging in my junk, lol.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 4°C and foggy. My first day home I think I'll head over to the neighbors and get a few loads of manure. He just turned the pile and it looks like GREAT stuff! Have a great day all :)

Good morning! The sun just coming up and it's rather cool out there. dr started a heater in the kitchen. I'm not in the kitchen yet. We are going out a bit later to the library. I may not stay to help with the kid party. My head is plugged up but I'm starting to sneeze so maybe it will clear up in a bit. I hate head colds or whatever it is.
