Happy Friday morning! Yes... a 3-day weekend ahead!
There was a light frost on the ground and ice on my windshield this morning. Lows were in the mid-30s and the high isn't expected to reach 70. But there's not a cloud in the sky so it sure is a pretty day.... almost too pretty to be in here at work. :D
Oh well... the weekend will be here soon.

Hello Garden Stewers, The hubby is home today so we thought we'd head off to the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, Pa. It's a place I could spend all day plus that wonderful exotic beer shop a few blocks away from it.

We will pick up some meats and veggies that we usually can't find here at home. We will take our little car so it will be a back road trip rather than a highway ride.

We will be home after dark so I will be signed off till the morning. I am so excited.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C and clear. Looks like a nice day ahead.
We got our new leather sofa's yesterday and the smell is very stong, almost overwhelming. Does anyone know how long until the smell goes away? I have a funny feeling it's going to be quite a long time! Hoping to enjoy the day outdoors today. Have a great day all :D

Well, I think today is "hen house" cleaning day. I pile up and shovel in and hubby drags it over the shovels it in compost pile.

Mmmm, so much fun. Our chickens never smell for we use allot of lime and hay. This job does have to be done once in a while or it would. :D

Happy Saturday morning. Not as cold this morning, but a bit breezy and lots of sunshine. Time to clear out the Hyacinth Bean Vine a couple other things. But not much to do in the garden, except give everyone a little drink.
Just saw Hubby walk by the window with a laundry basket full of mustard greens or were they collards? I'm tired of them already, but he loves them. Guess I'll take a couple bags to the aunts.

    Good morning everyone,

Its not as cool here, so i plan on working outside, doing my window boxes and urn's.

Have some laundry in and Brad's at work, so i'll go up later and do the floors for him.

Good SUnday morning all. It's mild this morning, 9°C, but overcast and very windy. Weatherman calls for very gusty winds and rain later. Perfect day to stay inside and cozy up by the fire.
Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Another mild day, but what's that I see? Some dark clouds? There's a 30% chance of rain today. But I'm still going to finish giving everything a drink. I just don't have faith in rain clouds anymore. :(

Happy Monday morning. Almost was tempted to put the AC on last night. Warm and warmer today with just a slight chance of rain. Yesterday there were dark clouds all around, but not one drop of rain. Today... not a cloud in the sky. BIG 80% chance of rain tomorrow.
No work for me today... so just at home trying to think of stuff I can do out in the garden. Maybe clear space out for another bed?

Good morning all. I was typing a reply to something on the Stew yesterday afternoon, hit the submit button and got the dreaded notice Server Not Found. Oh great the stew is down, but then realized that we had no internet connection at all. I knew I had paid the phone bill (we have DSL through them) so that wasn't the problem.
The tree trimmer guy was working on some limbs out back and I had a sinking feeling....sure enough a branch had fallen across the FIOS line and snapped it in two.
Repair guy got here about 11 this morning and made everything all better.

Not being able to log onto the Stew when I first get up in the morning is NOT a pleasant way to start the day.
