Good evening! Well, it's after 4 pm so it must be about evening. It was bright, sunny and warm when we got up so I took my cup of tea and sat outside with Chance for a bit. Then, the sun left, clouds came and wind began to blow. I came in and made muffins for breakfast. Then, still warm, I went out and pulled weeds from the storage yard, moved two small piles of lumber into storage yard and picked up broken glass from a window that fell over. After lunch I finished up the last spot that needed weeded and raked. Now, except for a few spots here and there I think I have all the weeds pulled. I still need to do some raking.
Rain in the forecast until Wednesday so I'm glad it's done.

I used to make chicken curry but it's too spicy now that we are "older". It just isn't as good when you go easy on the spice.

I wake up this morning and smell the lingering pleasures of last evening. That Curry Chicken was the best and now the left over will be lunch. I also make enough to freeze so I can have an extra meal next week on a shopping day.

Today we will be at our daughters house packing up her collection of Precious Moments. They will go up on Ebay as soon as I dig out the stored boxes for them. I have flattened stored boxes in my attic for so many things. They are all stored in the big black plastic trash bags. I never organized them or labeled them. I just may do that while I am going through them today. There must be over 20 big bags from over the last 40 years.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 12°c and pouring rain. It started raining about half way through my morning dog walk and now the winds are picking up. It doesn't look like a very nice day ahead.

Happy Sunday morning. It's hot and cloudy. And with the burn ban lifted for a few days... the air is full of smoke. Every one in the county must have been burning yesterday and it's aggravating my sinus today.
It was a bit windy, so my brothers didn't come over to burn our two big piles. Which is fine with me!
Cooking the gumbo was put off until today. Burn or no burn... they should be coming over to eat.
And yes FBG... you're invited too!

Good morning all. If this was a typical weather year, what we have now would be the perfect set up for some monster thunderstorms sometime in the next 24 hours....70 degrees overnight, 95% humidity and a cold front heading our way. But IF we get anything it will be tomorrow into Tuesday and I am no holding my breath waiting for it to happen.

The AC is on and my mood has hit the skids again. :'(

Good day everyone, after a day of rounding up the last of the fall leaves we are two pooped puppies. We ordered takeout from a local restaurant. The day was just right temperature wise for working outside. The head will be on the pillow early tonight.

Happy Monday morning. Still warm out but cloudy. A front is supposed to be coming through tomorrow bringing us some cooler temps. In the meantime, it's still shorts and flip flops.
