Good morning! No rain here! The sun is trying to push out the clouds. Half a mile away they had pouring rain. Road was full of puddles. Storms still may happen thru Wed. morning. Got my weeds pulled and carrots thinned and made the dump run so I was ready for rain.

Good day everyone, mother nature has decided we need some chilly weather. So, we are now below freezing. Brrrrrrr. The fireplace seems extra warm when it is cold outside.

Happy Tuesday morning. For the 3rd Tuesday in a row.... we're getting RAIN! I was driving in the wet stuff practically my entire commute (approx 35 miles). Heavy downpours in a couple of places. And there's more on the way this afternoon. Sure hope it stops by my house!

Good morning! It's cloudy and gray but we had rain! It started around 3:30 am and kept up for about 3 or 4 hours. Thunder, lightning and rain. Guess who had to go outside during the thunder and lightning part. Yep, it was Chance. Then, she complained about getting wet. I figure we got close to three inches. I'm glad all those weeds were pulled. With the ground wet they might have pulled easier but they are still gone.

Good morning all. We got a little over 1/2 inch of rain last night. Wish it had been more but am really happy with the fact that we actually got some this time!!

Cool and soggy out this morning so no gardening this week for me. I have begun knitting myself a red and silver shawl so I will put one of my 'knitting movies' in the DVD and get those needles flying, tomorrow I will be cleaning and doing some prep work for Thanksgiving dinner here on Thursday.

Good Morning. It is raining here also. They are saying maybe onehalf inch before it quits. It is only going to be in the 40's today but warm up to the 60's for turkey day. wannabe

A sodden day for working outside! Getting ready for T-day, Son, DIL, and two of the G-kids. Still raining, supposed to get into the low twenties soon but I still have kale and cilantro growing, hope it makes it through for a bit longer.

Good day everyone, with frost on everything this morning it was a good day to stay inside dry, sort, and tag seeds for next spring. The flowers will be happy to know that some flower beds will expand next year but I think I will wait to tell them next spring. Already they are jealous the popcorn gets its own pot.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. We had freezing rain overnight and everything has a thin layer of ice on it. I almost fell down a few times on my dog walk!
We turned the furnace on last night. It was cold and the wood stove alone just wasn't enough to heat the house. It's toasty in here now :)

Happy Wednesday morning. I bit cooler since the front moved through yesterday... I even had to put on jeans. But since it's supposed to reach the mid70s, I still got to wear my flip-flops!
Oh yeah... rain gauge at the house yesterday... 1.5 inches!
Should be a short day at work and then I don't have to return until Tuesday. What the heck am I going to do with all those days at home? Hmmmmm....

Good day everyone, today mother nature can get the rain out of her system so tomorrow will be a crisp, clear, sunny day. The corn is not ready to harvest so frozen corn will have to do. :)

Good afternoon! We've been busy this day before Thanksgiving. I worked in the storage yard again. I got all the firewood stacked in one place. I still have a stack that needs to be cut to length but dr handles the chainsaw and he was busy finishing the skirting on the house and painting it. We carried 5 bags to the dump this afternoon. My knees deserve a rest so I'll go make a pie and some cranberry sauce. It was sunny and 70 degs. A good day for working outside.
