Good Friday morning all. Currently 0°C and snowing. It is good heavy wet stuff and I don't even know where we stored the shovel last spring. I'll have to go out and look for it and then shovel off the porch before it freezes.
Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning! Much warmer today... temps now are around 60F and the high should be in the mid70s. My feet are so happy to get out of those socks and shoes and back into flip-flops! :D

Howdy, Last night I had the silliest thing happen, That's par for me being the most silly person in town.

My phone display is not only upside down, but inverted and nagativized. Not only the pictures but the words. It's very hard to go to my contacts and read them from the right and up.

Off to Verizon I go this morning.

Good day everyone, one of the day's activities was to go to a fair selling holiday decorations and food. We were there early so it did not take long to get the decorations. The food was another story...we had not eaten supper.....good thing the freezer is toward the empty side as it was cleaned out after the power outage of four days. It is now fuller.

Throwing calories to the wind, :)

Happy Saturday morning. Kinda nice out this morning... upper-50s, but overcast. I think it's supposed to get up to the mid-70s. I think I'll clear out a couple places for new flower beds. And maybe pick some pecans. Anything to get out of the house because it's supposed to be rainy all day tomorrow (fingers crossed).

Good morning all. Upper 50's this morning, upper 60's this afternoon...then the temperature starts dropping tomorrow and by Monday evening and night we could have some SNOW. You all know my opinion on this possibility don't you?? If not just take a look at my avatar and remember my whines back from June through Sept. :stew1: :stew2: :stew1: :stew2:

Good day everyone, a crisp fall day had me inside taking pictures at a local historical house during their annual open house. I did take some pictures of holiday floral decorations. I will post those.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 6°C with a strong NW wind and overcast skies. Spent the entire day at the mall yesterday so today I need to get some housework done and maybe some decorating. Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, the sun is expected to chase away the morning frost with temperatures rising into the mid 50's. I happened across a mystery seed pod yesterday, looks like a lily. Labeled 2011-M7, springtime planting will tell more, I just love a mystery. :)

Happy Sunday morning! The day started with temps in the mid60s. And the skies look like the rain is on the way! woohooo!!
And I think it's supposed to get down to freezing overnight. If so, I'll need to cover up the plants again.
Today will more than likely be spent indoors. I plan on making a batch of pecan pralines. And maybe put up the Christmas tree. My main project though is to go through some old photos to find some of old friends from Albuquerque who I just reconnected with last night after about 15 years!

Edited to add: it's raining already!

Good morning! It's dark and overcast and raining. No thunderstorms, just a steady rain with big puddles forming already. I guess we'll stay home today. Our downhill road turns into a creek in the rain and you slip and slide all the way up and down. But, I can bake and sew and do a few other things so it's no big deal. It's in 50's now and will go to mid 60's. But, tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be 50's down to low 40's. I'm just the opposite of Toni. I like sun and heat.
Cold and wet make the joints hurt.

GOOD MORNING ALL!!!!! We have had a steady rain, not heavy but a little heavier than light, for about 16 hours now. Just at 2 inches in the rain gauge and still coming down, lots more coming towards us for the rest of the day!!!!

Today is our oldest Grandson's 16th birthday. I was in the birthing room when he was born and the excitement of that day is still with me...but hard to believe it was already 16 years ago.
