    Good morning everyone,

Its a nice day here, it rained overnight, so all of our snow is gone.....however they are calling for snow by the end of the week.

Off to Toronto shortly, so have a great day everyone.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 4°C and overcast. It rained all night and will for most of today. So today's big dilemma? Cleaning or Christmas shopping?
Have a great day all :D

Happy Monday morning! I checked the rain gauge before I left home this morning... it was just under 3 inches. Supposed to rain off and on all day again. Sure is nice to see water standing and the drain ditches full. There was even problems with some roads in Houston flooding.
Temps will be in around the mid50s all day.
But I don't think anyone is complaining... except if they're stuck in traffic!
    ;)

Good Monday to all. We had snow here on Saturday, about 2" at my house. It is currently 18 degrees F, cloudy and wintery.

Good morning all. We have gotten just over 3 inches in the last 48 hours. Nice, steady soaking rain. There is little runoff that will benefit the lakes that are our water supply..but only a tiny bit. Some lakes are still 10+ feet low.

Had to take the car to the shop this morning. Saturday while our youngest was out shopping, someone attempted to steal the right front tire. Didn't get to finish the job before she got back to the car, being on the passenger side she didn't see anyone when she got in and drove away. She had several stops to make so by the time she got home that night the lug nuts were almost falling off and the lugs were bent and stripped. So it's new lugs and nuts for it. Just so very glad the tire didn't fall off while she was driving, that could have been very bad.

It's still raining here too. I'm not sure how much, dr went around and emptied all the containers I left sitting here and there. I don't have a rain guage. The road is a muddy, slippery mess. I made it up and back down today though. Yesterday we stayed home. Temps not much above 50 and will only be 45 tomorrow and 42 on wednesday according to the weather channel. More rain on both days.

Good day everyone, no rain here though it is cloudy and the forecast has rain for tomorrow. I noticed a forsythia branch is rushing springtime a bit. Oh wait!! Didn't we cancel winter? Maybe the bush is right.

I am pleased to see the sun coming up on the horizon this Tuesday morning because it is just 3 degrees F at 8:30 a.m. CST. Brrr, winter is upon us here in the plains.

Good morning! It's another gray, cloudy, rainy day. Number 4 I think. It's about 45 out right now. I have apple/raisin/cinnamon muffins in the oven. Nothing like a warm muffin to start a cold morning, with a cup of tea, not coffee. My feet are cold. I should go and put some socks on them. I sneaked out of the bedroom so I wouldn't wake dr and Chance.

Good morning everyone, it is 56°F but the sun is not working. Well the clouds may have something to do with it. Considering the time of year it's quite pleasant. I'm sure that will change, something to do with the wind. Jet stream.......hmmmmm....if only the air traffic controllers could re-route the jet stream. I made the mistake of looking at the 10 weather forecast. I won't do that again, rain and maybe a snow shower. Perhaps if I don't look it won't happen. Any way it's time to water the corn.

Good morning all. 32 deg at the moment, bird baths are frozen but a lot of plants still look like it is summer out in the front garden.
Just a few miles west of here there are places that had 2-5 inches of snow on the ground yesterday. We might have gotten a flurry or two but I didn't see it. The clouds are supposed to start to clear out sometime early afternoon. I am really not interested in seeing that big ball of flaming gas, had quite enough of his constant presence last summer, thank you very much.

    Happy Tuesday afternoon.
A cold and gloomy day down here too... temps won't reach 50F. And they're predicting near freezing & freezing temps for the next couple of days. So the plants get covered up again.
