Happy Wednesday morning. A freezing start to the day with temps hovering around the freezing mark. But there was no frost. Lots of sunshine today with highs trying to make it to 50F. Same for tomorrow and the next day.
I forgot to bring in my Caladium but it didn't look like it was bothered much by the temps. But I'll definitely bring it in tonight.

Good morning all. 25f/-4c this morning, nippy when I took the trash and recycle barrels to the curb a few minutes ago and everything is covered with frost. Yesterday we didn't get out of the 30's but today we should make it up to 45.

Many of the plants that are a little limp this morning will have a chance to rebound later as the temperatures will stay above freezing after tonight and afternoons will go into the 50-60 degree range again.

Good day everyone, if anyone is missing their '100% chance of rain,' it is here in New England and if you lost your 'possibilities of snow' we have that too. You can claim them in the lost and found.

Jerry, I think what you are getting was our weekend of rain. It was heading your way when it left us Monday afternoon and I must have scared off the possibility of snow with my excitement about it, because I saw it hanging on the rain's shirttail as it cleared off.

I got out heavier coat. And looking for my gloves. We had just a skiff of snow. Son in NW Iowa got 7 inches. And Tuesday night was -27. I'll be glad to just see SUN. And winter has just begun.

    Good morning everyone,

Its cold here and we had a dusting of snow, calling for more later in the day.

I have some errands to do today, as well as grocery shopping and go later to buy our tree, out for supper tonight for Natalie's birthday.

Good morning everyone, with winds at 30 - 35 mph yesterday's rain has quickly left the area. The clouds appear to be breaking up so sun may soon chase away the 'chance of snow' demons.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -2°C and snowing. We had an unexpected snowfall last night with accumulation that has put me in an absolutely FOUL mood. I hope my mood improves soon.
    Have a good day people

Happy Thursday morning. The temps dropped to the mid 20F overnight. Brrrrr!!! Left the water dripping indoors to keep the pipes from freezing. There was a light frost this morning. It looked pretty. The sun is out and it should get up to the mid 50s today. And not as cold tonight.
Since it's dark when I get home, I won't know what plants survived these few freezes until this weekend.

Good morning all. The birdbaths are frozen solid but it is now a little above freezing so they should be thawed by early afternoon. Nighttime and daytime temperatures are creeping back up, should be in the 60's again by Tuesday afternoon.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -1°C and snowing lightly. House work and gift wrapping is my plan today. Then I'm going to curl up on the couch near the woodstove and look at all the seed catalogs that have been arriving for the last month. It's never to early to start planning next years gardens :D
    Have a great day all!

Good morning everyone, the birds were able to use their ice skates as old man frost dipped his fingers into the birdbath. Add 20 degrees and you have the high for today. Tomorrow the math will be easier as we will only have to add 10 degrees.

Happy Friday! A warmer start to the day... low 40F with highs not expected to reach 60. And there's a slight chance of rain.
I got home before dark yesterday to assess any damage from the 2 nights of freezes. Only things I saw that took it really hard was the Sweet Potato Vine "Blackie" and the Pickerels.
