The Good Day All Thread

Good morning everyone,

Its cool and frosty here, and starting to snow just a little bit.

Off to do some errands and some christmas shopping too.

 

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -7°C and sunny. I think this is the coldest morning so far, and a reminder that it is just going to get worse. All the puddles are frozen solid! Not sure what my plans are today, I guess I'll 'wing it'

 

Happy Saturday morning. A cool start to the day again... mid 40-s. And windy and cloudy. No plans really. Just some house cleaning.And oh yeah... I need to take some new flowers out to the cemetery.

 

Good day everyone, the day was slowly progressing to high noon when a friend called and suggested we go to a local nursery to see the holiday decorations. Off we all went to the nursery. I took some pictures of the showy orchids in the entrance way. I also got some food for the scale that had taken up residence on one of my plants.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -6°C and sunny. Today I hope to get some baking done. Yesterday I made 2 pans of cinnamon buns and they are almost gone. I hope I find a better hiding spot today!

Happy Sunday morning. Today's weather appears to be a repeat of yesterday. Cold (40s) and windy with very little sunshine. Hopefully the winds will die down so I can at least go outside and do something.

 

Good day everyone, it was sort of a nice lazy day, the birds got a new brick of suet and I fed the scale.

We had sixteen degree's of frost this morning. (Very old fashioned way of saying sixteen degree's F) Barely got above freezing, in the sunshine. Installed a new door latch, the lever kind for those of us with arthritis. This one appears to work so well, I'll need to do this with all the rest of the entry doors.

I have a few errands to do, as well as some more christmas shopping.

 

Good Monday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. This Mom is feeling under-appreciated this morning and will now do NO cleaning etc today. Unfortunately, this usually means twice the work tomorrow, but I won't do anything then either. Ha!

 

Happy Monday morning. No work for me today. Same cool cloudy start to the day. Yesterday cleared up and warmed up nicely. We picked a few more gallons of pecans. Now I must shell them... or no candy and pie for Christmas.
Hope today clears up too! I'd much rather be outdoors doing nothing than indoors. :-D

 

Good afternoon all. Wow I am tired and Christmas is still 13 days away Sure wish I had a live-in maid. Finished the shopping this morning. I refuse to go to any store again before Christmas.

Weather has been to warm for here. It's 52* right now and 66 in my greenhouse. Only had a couple light frosts. Nights are low 40's high 30's. Hope my winter sowing makes it thru.

 

Good day everyone, with the cold on its way here, it is the last chance to batten down the hatches. Winter officially arrives Dec. 22, at 12:30 in the morning. It even sounds cold.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. Today I might make one more trip to try and finish my shopping. It seems every time I think I'm done I think of something else I missed!
