Good evening all. We went to IKEA tonight and unless I am extremely wrong we bought the last gift we needed to buy. Whew!!! Now to start wrapping. This year I am using fabric, specifically pieces of my collection of snowflake prints and red cotton yarn to tie them up....or bring the ends of the fabric up top and wind a rubber band around it to make a funky looking flower. It's something I am going to play with next week.

It rained all day, in some areas heavier and more than on my yard but there is a little over one half inch in the gauge so my plants are happy.

    Morning everyone,

Its cool and windy here, but still no snow.

I'm home today, so i need to wrap some more gifts, mail a couple last minute christmas cards, go and pick up my new Iphone, and have an errand for Brad too.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 1°C, windy and overcast. It's not a very nice day at all! Working on a family tree for a friend today...hope to make a nice tree in a frame for a Christmas gift.
Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning! We got around 1/8th of an inch of rain overnight. And more predicted for the next couple of days. It's a bit cooler today... mid-to-upper 50s.
Office party today... I made sure to eat a light supper last night so I'd be good and hungry for lunchtime!

Good morning Stewbies. It is a crisp, cold sunny morning here in the heartland.
We are venturing out today for the final holiday gift search. The packages are piling up under the tree. Grandson is curious and excited!
The weather is going to be clear and dry for a while and I am so glad. The past several years it has been treacherous driving during the holidays.
A great weekend to you all!

Good day everyone, the cool day has lessened outside activities so I am preparing to do my Wardian case. I will make a quarter scale model first to prove the concept and practice building techniques.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -11°C and sunny. Walked out to our trail camera this morning and found 3 nice shots of deer. Hoping to find something other than deer one day ... coyotes, cougar or a bear would be nice. Although, I think I wouldn't be too eager to check the camera alone after that! Have a great day all.

Good morning all. A sunny and dry day in store here, could be more rain late Sunday and it could be a good soaker. We got a total of 5/8ths of an inch this past week.

After all the rain so far this month we are only 10 inches behind for the year. Drought is far from over since the lakes and water sources are still low by 6 to 12 Feet!!

Happy Saturday morning. A lot cooler this morning with temps in upper 40s and the high might reach 60. Looks like it will be mostly sunny and breezy.
Nothing to do out in the garden. But I do need to tend to the plants that were brought indoors.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast. There seems to be a bit of white stuff falling from the sky. I'm kind of hoping it keeps falling so we can have a white Christmas.
Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Nothing but sunshine! And it's in the upper 50s already. As long as it's not windy, it will be a great day to be outdoors. Now.... if I can only figure out something to do! :-D

Good morning everyone, the rhododendrons were curled up, so without looking at the thermometer I knew it was real chilly outside. A good day for doing warm things.

I think I'm going to wear elf outfit. Another customer wants me to help wrap presents. She had me do it last year. So wrote post note what was inside. Only about 20 of them. Another place put 40 + boxes of decoration. I love doing it. Glad Dh is helping Monday. Setting up a real tree. Will bring a tarp. It's been on deck for 2 weeks. So will not have needles all over.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 3°C and overcast. Sounds like we will not have a white Christmas this year ... no snow predicted all week, just rain.
